Food was great, service could have been better, but I have to give the waitresses the benefit of doubt. I went on a Wednesday night which they have some buy get another half price specials, so the place was hopping. I had the all you can eat combo plate (clams, shrimp and seabass) the food was... read more

The OFCA has a magnificent fine arts show in Cedar Key annually. One of the main reasons that I participate is that I have an opportunity to dine at Robinson's Seafood at least twice during the event. I was most fortunate to have the soft shell crab two nights in a row (plus I took more home to Ocala with... More

We were told that Robinsons was the 'only place to get seafood'. We now think that they meant to buy and cook yourself. The service itself was good but short lived as once served, no more contact until the bill. My husband was served sea bass instead of grouper and l ordered clams. His order came without his side, and... More

Friendly staff, great seafood. We did not eat there, but bought fresh seafood to cook ourselves. We have returned there each time we stayed in Cedar Key.

A nice change from eating average food and slow service in the dock area of cedar key. The all you can eat special lets you try 3 different seafood items and it is only 13.99. The fish and shrimp were so good. Hush puppies were good as well. Would go there again, wish I had went there sooner. It is... More

3 of us ordered the Valentine's Day special (steak and shrimp) and the other person had broiled shrimp. We were all happy with our food and would go there again. One of the sides was a small bowl of Jambalaya - it was excellent!

There's no view here, but the food is great! I ordered clams and they were the better than the more expensive restaurants on the island I ordered them at. Hushpuppies, beans, and coleslaw all came with it and they were very good!! If you want to spend more money to sit by the water to eat, go downtown. If you... More

This is no Uptown Gourmet seafood restaurant nor Edge of the Sea harbor delight but a good old-fashioned fish camp complete with deer head on the wall and daily specials handwritten on a blackboard under the TV. The food is great - now isn't that why you go out to eat ? We were staying at the campground nearby and... More

We bought bay shrimp at the store to cook at home. Followed owner's instructions and it was really tuff. Then we ate at the restaurant. Hush puppies were so greasy you couldn't eat them. Portions were small and tasteless and service was marginal.

Cozy friendly atmosphere. We stopped in for lunch, hubby selected the day special of a dozen raw oysters, and the seafood platter, which was brioled grouper, shrimp, oysters and fried crabcake, The oysters were sweet, ocean fresh, came on platter already shucked and (select size), he raved about them, I let him rave (I do not allow oysters to pass...
