Like traveling back in time... and I'm not even old enough to have been alive back then! But it's got a very charming 1950's feel, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered 4 different sandwiches for lunch, and two shakes for dessert. The owner was a man of few words, but still very nice when talking about his time... More

I frequently travel the forgotten coast corridor and am so happy to find custom roasted coffee and real espresso served. The nostalgic atmosphere and collections are amazing. What a great oasis for travelers, fisher-folk and holiday makers along the coast. This is my favorite place on the Big Bend!

This place was really good. The roast beef special, with horseradish mayo was outstanding! They have good coffees, shakes, malts and espresso. If you're in the area it's a must try.

This place is the best. Great selection of sandwiches, and a daily Blue Plate special. Sit outside and watch the town go by, and you'll probably end up in a conversation with one of the locals. Or sit inside and enjoy the collectibles on the shelves and the walls and let yourself get transported back to a simpler time. They... More

One of a kind sandwich shop! I've been eating here for over 10 years, and every time I get ready to go down to Carrabelle Fl I plan to get there in time to catch lunch here. You can even get breakfast as well. Not only is the food good it's fun to look at all the little things hanging... More

Authentic old coastal Florida dining experience. The BEST food between Tallahassee and Apalachicola. Bring cash (no cards accepted) and enjoy the Ultimate Bagel and a Modelo or Nehi. You'll love the ice cream here. Carrabelle harbor is a five minute walk away. We eat here every time we visit and thoroughly enjoy the owner, Ron's, hospitality and character. Oh, and... More

A trip back to the 50s. Delightful soda fountain...coupled with a Village coffee house. Good place to meet the locals.

We stopped in for an after lunch treat. Server was very friendly and pateint with us (took a while to decide what to order due to the vast selection). Banana Split and other ice creams were delicious. They even had baskets of chalk outside to entertain the kids while us parents could finish our treats.

Carrabelle Junction is a totally unexpected gem along Route 98. For a spectacular lunch treat, have the ultimate bagel, festooned with cream cheese, sprouts, avocado and bacon (and recommended by locals). Or one of the many tasty sandwiches, or just a scoop of excellent ice cream (when I was there in March 2014 it was Haagen-Dazs). The owner - a... More
