A few lines to introduce myself. My name is Al Whelan, I am from Boston and worked at a famous "waterfront dive" known as Kelly's Landing. A seafood business in a Catholic community with lines down the street, literally. I worked there for five summers and enjoyed every minute of it. My first date with the counter girl (she couldn't resist a man in a paper hat), my first kiss, etc. One rule was demanded, cooking with clean oil! In those days it was lard! Today we use canola oil both on the grill side and on the fry side... Most of our dinners are on the grill side. Fish shrimp, scallops, steaks, ribs, chicken and pork round off our menu. Our Irish Connoli is like a little piece of heaven and our homemade bread pudding is to die for. Both topped off with sweet whipped cream. We've added a 6000 square foot patio surrounded by trees. A truly private and romantic spot. Also some added features such as, a basketball cage, beer pong table and corn hole court.

Quirky with amazing food

Really good crabcakes. It was my first time here and when they found that out they brought us out some appetizers to try. I never liked fried green tomatoes until I tried them here. Absolutely some of the friendliest service I've ever had in the Cape. After our dinner they treated us to some... read more

This was our first trip to Cape Coral and we couldn't have picked a better place to eat dinner! The owner and his staff were super friendly and the food was absolutely amazing! We tried several dishes that we had never tried before like Gator tail( yum) and we loved them all! Great fun place with a eclectic/artsy atmosphere. This... More

I love this place. I am not a local but when I come to town to see friends we always have dinner here. Al is just a hoot with tons of stories and great customer service. His food is amazing. The prices are good. Don't miss it!

This place it's simply great! A little intimidating at beginning since there was no one when we arrived, but suddenly it's was full, they still managed to let us feel welcomed and special. Trust me you won't be disappointed. Food is delicious

Great place. Don't be fooled by outside. Go in. The amount of free food thrown at you is incredible, apps and dessert. Fun place and food is great.

My first visit to New England Moorings. The food was great. The ambiance even better, and the friendly staff made us feel like family. Hooray for Tim for making it a memorable event.

Great food and abundance, Waitress Tara and staff were exceptional! As we sat down, we were greeted promptly and pampered beyond expected. They kept bringing food out to try. Excellent, only place I'll go for gator.
