A few lines to introduce myself. My name is Al Whelan, I am from Boston and worked at a famous "waterfront dive" known as Kelly's Landing. A seafood business in a Catholic community with lines down the street, literally. I worked there for five summers and enjoyed every minute of it. My first date with the counter girl (she couldn't resist a man in a paper hat), my first kiss, etc. One rule was demanded, cooking with clean oil! In those days it was lard! Today we use canola oil both on the grill side and on the fry side... Most of our dinners are on the grill side. Fish shrimp, scallops, steaks, ribs, chicken and pork round off our menu. Our Irish Connoli is like a little piece of heaven and our homemade bread pudding is to die for. Both topped off with sweet whipped cream. We've added a 6000 square foot patio surrounded by trees. A truly private and romantic spot. Also some added features such as, a basketball cage, beer pong table and corn hole court.

Best restaurant ever!!!!

I took my family here as it was highly recommended by a friend. The environment was great. I had the cioppino and my wife had the seafood medley. Everything was delicious. Tim the cook definitely knows what he is doing in the kitchen. My kids loved it as well. Great place to go with family and... read more

We had the best dinner at The Moorings. Tim was a fantastic chef who cooked up shrimp (not on the menu) for us that we requested. It was wonderful along with the main course. Katelyne was our server and she was very attentive. Our family had a great time and the cannoli desert was yummy. What a fun place to... More

Off the main road on a side street and in a plain looking building from the outside I encouraged my wife to go in with me based on the reviews. Al greeted us as we entered and and showed us to our table introducing Katelyne as our server. The eclectic inside atmosphere and very friendly service were over the top.... More

The kitschy atmosphere will take you to another place in time where you will enjoy being while eating here. Katilyne our friendly server started us out with sample appetizers. Al stopped by to pull up a chair to chat. Tim the cook checked to be sure we were happy with our dinners. The food was excellent! This was our first... More

My husband and I finally had the opportunity to go there for dinner. We had a great waitress, Katelyne, very friendly and helpful explaining the specials and the menu items. Tim was our bartender that night and he sent over a bottle of Amaretto after our dinner with our free Irish cannoli that Katelyne gave us. Food was fresh and... More

Wasn't sure of what to expect as this was our 1st time here. We were met by the hostess katelyn who recommended a couple great seafood dinners. While we were waiting, the chef Tim send out several samples of items from the menu. What a wonderful treat they were. Great alligator bites by the way. The fish was fresh and... More

The place to go for a great dinner. Tim will fix you a great meal and send out samples from the kitchen. Took our special request and made it happen. The seafood medley was fantastic. Then to top it off an amaretto toast and cannoli were brought to us. Katelyn took great care of us and Tim a chef to... More

Great service and amazing food!! Highly recommended! If they have it, they'll make it for you, even if it's not on the menu.
