The Moorings is well worth the one or two extra turns you have to take off the main road. Approaching it from the outside, we were a little hesitant, but this small mom & pop type restaurant turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. The super shrimp scampi and seafood medley were delicious and a very good value. What... More

A bit off the beaten path lies an unique dining experience, the Moorings. Owner Al tries to provide Al makes you feel like you are part of his family. We had the Key West Chowder, which was full of fish and other seafood, Bourbon Shrimp, which was delicious, and fried green tomatoes-yum!! At the end of dinner, Al treats you... More

Great food and more than reasonably priced - Atmosphere is very relaxed! We were greeted and served by the owner, Al, who shared some samples to give us a variety of taste palettes to choose from. It was much more than I had anticipated - The experience turned a dinner into much more than just a dinner out. We were... More

Fun, food and very personal service. Romantic garden setting just off the busy Del Prado Blvd. Owner, Al is there to make his guests enjoy great food. the shrimp is delicate and tasty. A must place when heading south. Last night best soft shell crab ever. Tell Al Steve and Joanne from Missouri sent you.

Enjoy a great dining experience in a small restaurant off the main road, Del Prado Blvd., in Cape Coral Florida. There were 9 of us celebrating 2 birthdays. The food arrived hot, freshly prepared and if any of us left hungry, it was our fault. Food was plentiful. We enjoyed appetizers and, if you still have room after dinner, the... More
