The Real Deal

Big flank of fish and made to order chips (French fries) just as you would get in London cooked by a real Brit. Be sure to ask for a side of brown gravy! Pleanty of British and American beer by the bottle - get the Bass Ale or Newcastle Brown Ale and you will cap off the whole British... read more

We love this place! Very simple, bright, clean and unassuming. But what you don't get in busy decor, you get in perfectly and fluffy battered, perfectly fried, flavorful fresh fish. All prepared right in front of you on the other side of the counter, if you want to watch. Or just sit and wait, and melt in the aroma of... More

Nearly six months ago, I wrote a two star review on Pete's, a complete departure to my usual opinion of the place, due to a bad take out order I received. I made the comment that the restaurant was going downhill and not as good as it used to be. After a dine in visit today, I must admit my... More

My Wife and I saw this restaurant a few months ago. After reading reviews we had to try Pete's. I have eaten lots of fish and none have even come close to Pete's. This is the best. Pete and his wife have a super clean place. Even the bathroom smelled fresh and clean. I would drive from anywhere in SW... More

You'll have a hard time beating Pete's Fish and Chips in Cape Coral FL. Some have tried, but never succeeded. Pete gets his top quality cod from Iceland.....simply the best...he can show you the name of the ship that caught the cod that you are eating. Iceland happens to be where the best cod comes from. I have a good... More

It is very hard to find great Fish in Florida. In Cape Coral the best Is Pete's Fish & Chips. Pete is the Real Deal - Right from England. He is the friendliest person on earth and he cooks all the fish himself. He uses only the best Icelandic Cod. His restaurant is small - maybe only 10 tables at... More

Nice ambiance, British Fish & Chips joint. Owner, Pete, is the 'retired' cool, working the fryers. I believe his wife greets everyone and is the cashier. Limited seating, but very nice. Expensive, probably $5 per meal over-priced. Portions are not as generous as implied. Good food, simple menu. Homemade breaking could've been crispier for my liking. Staff was 10/10 in... More

This is a store front shop. It does a brisk take out business but they do have a few tables where you can eat your purchases. The place has an atmosphere of England and the servers & fish is VERY nice. Give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Very decent fish and chips, though perhaps a bit greasier than necessary. Good batter. Fast service. Very limited seating, so either be prepared to wait or take out.

This is a very small establishment in a strip mall. Don't let that fool you. The cod is delicious and Pete is a real character. Yes, Pete comes out of the kitchen to chat with customers. There are only 6 or 8 tables, so come early or get it to go.
