I've lived all over the country and been to many German restaurants and Duke of Germany is by far the best German cuisine I've had, great service and the food is out of this world. If you're in SW Florida you must go to dinner here! The restaurant is cool too, great old world ambiance, you really feel like you're... More

This was our third time dining here and we were as pleased as our first time. The food is excellent, fresh, cooked to order. This is a family owned restaurant, they all work to please customers. We brought friends who had never eaten here and they were thrilled. This is a great restaurant for a relaxing night out and you... More

This evening my husband and I ate at Duke of Germany for the first (and definitely not the last!) time. The entire experience was pleasant. The service was good and the food arrived hot, the order was correct and everything was wonderful. We will definitely be back on a regular basis and hopefully will have room for dessert next time!

Easy to find in strip mall. Greeted promptly. Authentic German food. We ordered Sauerbraten & Bavaria Leberkaese, liver dumpling soup, & apple struedel. All were delicious. Waiter was quick and attentive, but kitchen service was slow. If you are not in a hurry, this is the place to go in Cape Coral for German food.

Great food, great service. Loved the videos of the mountains. We will be back. Beer was good, schnitzel was great as was the goulash. Pastry was light.

We ate at Duke of Germany tonight and were overall happy with our meal. The food was quite good and the portion size was huge. The service was only okay, but I appreciate that it is family run.

My fave thing to order at any German restaurant on my first visit is always sauerbraten and spatzel with red cabbage. I wasn't let down! Some of the best I've had in the states, everything is homemade and it shows! The ambiance is fun with videos playing traditional German music. The beer selection is vast and if you go to... More

Friends who'd been to Duke of Germany on two prior occasions encouraged 4 of us to meet them for a nice meal on a chilly March evening. We were not disappointed! The owner, Duke, and his son, Karl, were our servers. They were welcoming and professional. The wife/mom, Susen, was at work in the kitchen and the food the men brought... More

German cuisine is underappreciated in this country. Good, solid food that satisfies everytime! Who doesn't like hearty sausages and strong beer?! We were very pleasantly served by the son of the family who presented us with wonderful plates prepared by his mother, Chef Susen, and presided over by his father, the Duke, who made sure everything was satisfactory. A great... More
