Homemade soups and delicious pasta entree. We have been coming here for over 3 years on a weekly basis. When our children come to town this is where they ask to go. They love the family dynamics in the restaurant. Vinnie is the best at making sure your food is what is expected and will quickly remedy the issue if... More

I read previous reviews about this restaurant and was excited to try it. We called ahead for a reservation but they don't take them in off season! We had the wrong address from Google so I called on the way there and whoever answered the phone seems annoyed! Then we get there at 6:30 on a Friday and my in... More

I travel all over the US and I rarely find pasta ala olio that matches my nona's. This restaurant is the exception. It is outstanding. When I saw they had closed on Pine Island, I was devestated but relieved when I found them downtown Cape Coral. The staff is friendly and accomodating. It is true that sometimes they run out... More

I was so excited when I seen this restaurant in the South Cape, but unfortunately they are not the same. The waitress (who I believe was the wife of the owner) was unfriendly. She seemed annoyed that we came in to eat, and she told me that they did not serve expresso. That would be fine except right before we... More

We felt as if we were part of la familia. Delicious food. Jamie aka snot waffle was an amazing waitress. Everyone was so friendly, we were even offered a ride home from Vinnie. Mimmi was gracious enough to give us an autograph and a cook us a delicious home cooked authentic meal. Thanks for a great experience!!

After our first dinner here, we were anxious to come back and try it again. They were out of arancini the first night and the waitress told us to call ahead to reserve a couple servings (they don't take people reservations just food reservations). It was worth making a second trip to eat this tasty appetizer. You can bring your... More

Small family run Italian restaurant with obvious care to making the food have that "home cooked" flavor. The Arancini - perfect balls of risotto stuffed with sausage and cheese are a meal in themselves. The calamari was tender and cooked perfectly and yummy marinara for dipping. Have to get there early in season as it's very small. Sorry that they... More

Homemade food - hot and delicious. Small place - hard to get in right now. Good Italian food made right there by family.

It was like coming home and no wonder the kitchen is run by a true Nona. We loved it and ate way to much as we wanted to try it all. Took the main course home after about 5 bites. The salad was so fresh as was the wonderul beach bread. We had the soup which was Minestrone..lucky us and... More
