Bring your boat, good value. Love the Prime rib. Extensive menu, Attentive service. Rare waterfront location in the Cape.
Well, whatever forever means in this 50 year old community I think Jimbo's has been there almost forever. It's friendly and filled with the local regular crowd. Home cooked style, inexpensive and very good.
On our recent trip to Cape Coral to visit friends we found this little place. We were greeted by a hostess and a waitress who was just walking by, that was my first clue the staff must be friendly. We were sat quickly and the waitress was at our table in a matter of seconds offering a beverage. She quickly... More
Tried Jimbo's because the ads state that they have 50 different burgers. Didn't get a burger, but instead had bleu cheese stuffed sirloin which was very good. I ordered onion rings as one of my side dish choices, and I am so glad that I did. The homemade, batter dipped onion rings may just be the best I've had. Also,... More
Been to Jimbo's several times. Displeased each and every time. The last time I went (about 2 years ago) I decided I'd never go back. But, tried it again this week anyway. My daughter ordered coleslaw which she quickly found out she didn't like because they put pineapple in it. We ate outside which was screened in, it looked... More
NothingTo Fancy About The Place. It's Your Typical Breakfast Joint. The Was Good, The Service Was, It Gets The Job Done.
We eat at Jimbo's regularly and are never unhappy. There hamburgers are some of the best I've eaten and the service is great. Don't go looking for frills, this is just a neighborhood eatery.
I'm not sure what's going on but we go there a few times during the week and Sunday's are the worst. Whoever is cooking on Sunday is horrible and we are telling all our friends not to go on Sunday's. Bad food, hire new cooks. It's a shame because most days are ok.
Simply put, the food is average, the cost is average and it's an average water view. The difference is that it's one of only a few local places to eat. There is a smoking and non smoking section (yes that still exists) and you can sit inside or on the deck. The deck is screened and its on a canal.... More
