Love the Cuban coffee and the entire breakfast. Its always the best on the Cape. We have been at all three of them and they are consistently yummy.

Cuban sandwich was good. Fried Plantains were tasty. Had a hard time with overall cleanliness of this place. Men's bathroom was filthy, 3 stars because food was good, service ok. otherwise 1 star for overall restaurant experience. The ceiling tiles were all nasty and falling down, walls dirty and sticky tables have not been moved to mop under EVER. Could... More

Food had absolutely no flavor, the meat was made with old oil, the air conditioned not working. Salt and pepper shakers have not been cleaned ever, filthy!! The only decent thing was the Guarapo and the mango shake. The waitress has no chance to make a decent salary with food this bad.Stay away !!

I was in the Cape Coral area with my family on vacation. We literally have no Cuban restaurants in our hometown area, so we thought we'd venture out of our comfort zone and try something new. I always try and research new places and find out a bit of basic info before we go. This place somehow had a few... More

I moved here from Miami a few years ago anxious to find a good cuban restaurant. I went to mambos and the first couple of times it was ok. Then I went with my elderly father that takes his time eating, he's 86 years old. Half way through the meal the waitress comes over and asks us if we're finishing... More

Ive never been disappointed with El Mambo! Eat in or take out, breakfast, lunch or dinner its real, its well made and it is affordable. Love the Ropa Vieja, the picadillo and the cuban sandwiches are every bit as good as any you can get in Miami.

Although I'm not a fan of their inexpensive bacon and egg breakfast because I'm an Oscar Mayer snob, I love, love, love their pastries in the bakery just down the street on 47th from their main restaurant. They serve everything the larger restaurant does, but it's really the bakery that is AWESOME. They have the flakiest pastries in southwest Florida... More

Quick "in and out" visit for breakfast. Try the ham & cheese croissant (available with our without egg) for just $2.50. This local spot is know for generous portions and Cuban / American food. Parking can get a litle tight...just go around teh corner and there is usually ample street parking and /or additional spaces. Bring your appetite!

We love El Mambo for breakfast! They have a $3.50 special with 3 eggs, bacon/sausage, toast, and coffee/orange juice. It's amazing and delicious and filling. There are no frills in the place, but the food is always delicious and the service is quick. Love it.

I had one of my favorite food, and enjoyed it very much. The shrimps enchilado is the best. They have milkshakes, one of the best in the world! You gotta try Mamey Milkshake. I definitely go back there.
