We really like Cuban food so we checked this out based on TripAdvisor posts. We were not disappointed. The food was great and the service was very good.

I read a few reviews that this wasn't "real cuban fare"? That wasn't our experience. We really enjoyed the rice, black beans, yucca lechon asado (slow cooked pork) and flan. Nicely seasoned as cuban cuisine goes....especially the black beans. We will return to try other options. I believe they may be open for breakfast and lunch as well.

lunch is super-genuine cuban cooking.very generous portions and good service.roast pork is special as are the other black-board lunches. we have eaten here many times and never regretted it. If you require table cloth and high prices then this place is not for you. If you need a celebrity [chef?] then stay away. Just great food served nicely.

This is the place for breakfast, delicious bacon, lots of it. Eggs any way you like, be sure to have the Cuban toast and Cuban coffee. If you are there for lunch have the flan. It's the best. Saturday nite is pork dinner that's also our favorite. Gravy has a hint of lime juice in it. You can't go wrong... More

Really. We were on our way to the Cape Coral Saturday market and a couple looking like locals parked near us...so I asked them for a lunch recommendation. Without hesitation they said El Mambo and told us where it was, a few blocks away. It is about the food, not the view, not the decor. We were the only patrons... More

went in here for breakfast. Not a huge choice but more than adequate and excellent value. Try the Cuban coffee! Staff were friendly, service was very efficient. Looked like a place where the locals go, always a good sign.

It's a Cuba restaurant with a unique menu, $3.50 breakfasts, cuban sandwiches that are out of this world!

My husband and I go for breakfast. Their breakfast special is $4.25 for 3 eggs anyway, bacon/ham/sausage, and bread. It's family owned by Cubans. Great cafe con leche (cuban coffee with milk) and it's included in the special. They also have a bakery and fresh juices. Great food and other breakfast options too. Also open for lunch and dinner.
