This is a neighborhood hangout right out of the 50's except that they have many TVs and subscribe to virtually all sports networks so....they correctly identify as a sports bar serving Mexican food. Chips are salty, salsa is home made with lots of tomatoes, beer is cold and reasonably priced. The menu is limited to pretty standard Mexican dishes and... More

Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Beer was ice cold and coffee was very hot which was a positive start. Chili Relleno was great. Mr. loved the flatbread type wrap instead of thick batter around the pepper. Enchilada was nothing to write home about. Just so-so. Salsa had a fair amount of Garlic in it. I found it interesting and while... More

Service and food always great. They bent over backwards to accomodate our group of eight. Salsa selections good and chimichanga excellent.

My wife had a shrimp dish and they seemed like they were frozen not fresh... kind of tasteless even. Kind of sad considering we're on the coast. My steak dish was excellent but not enough to keep me coming back. Everyone else had similar to say about it, ok not great

Dry fish, rib eye sandwich was flank steak and tasted weird, old like. No offer for replacement. Ambiance is redneck, poor folks and so is this overpriced food.

I agree with many of the reviewers that this is essentially a dive, and most non-locals will pass it by. But as with many dives, it's a gem. Our dining experiences were limited to the tacos and taco salads, which were the best we've ever eaten. I typically douse my tacos in hot sauce, but the beef and chicken were... More

food just okay. but this was afun little dive full of locals. I wouldn't recommend bringing kids, but just for adults...a good place to grab a few cold ones and watch a game.

Best kept secret in the Cocoa Beach area...My wife and I always look for those little off the beaten trail places and this is it...The Hungry Detective should check out this diamond in the rough...Disregard all the comments about the salsa and the rude staff...these people are the real deal and as nice as pie...Met a lady and her husband... I had the juanita mexican platter and the wife the burger. both incredible. service was awesome. Was at a bar and asked the locals where the best burger was and they said La Catina so we ended up here. they were not lying. Treat yourself to a very pleasant surprise and come eat here. Ran into some locals at restaurant... More
