Love, Love, Love Cafe Vargas! My husband and I eat here at least once a week! And my college-aged son ALWAYS insists we take him to Cafe Vargas when he's home from school, because he loves it too! ALL the food is fabulous, but I especially love the pork dishes and my son enjoys the Cuban sandwich (which is huge... More

I have been going to Vargas for over two years and it gets better each time. My Puerto Rican mother has dementia and when ever I take her to Vargas it brings joy to her face. Though they serve Cuban she thinks she is in Puerto Rico, The pork carnitas, rice and beans and empanadas are amazing. I have had... More

Love this little place! My wife and I have gone multiple times. Alberto is a wonderful host to everyone who comes in. The food is very good, tastes very homemade. I love the sandwiches and the Don Pepe special of the day. Each day it is different - a good deal. Prices are somewhat high for lunch entrees, but sandwich... More

When here based on TA comments and boy was it a treat. Owner and wife super nice ... We didn't know what to order so we told him to feed us. He brought out 2 different dinners that my wife and I shared from and it was so good. We will be back there our next time though.

My uncle took me to Vargas Cafe when I was visiting him. The restaurant is tiny, but full of people, and you understand why when you take your first bite. Their pico de gallo is so fresh and flavorful. I tried the Pan con Chorizo, which was very good. There was no way I could eat it all, so I... More

I've been coming to Vargas for nearly 3 years now and it is by far our favorite family restaurant. The food is freshly cooked and the owners (Alberto & Maria) are welcoming and interesting. I've made my way around the menu and I love everything about this place. The Cuban sandwich is great! Little known fact, Alberto is very picky... More

When in the Space Coast we regularly visit Cafe Vargas. Our last visit was May 5, 2014 and we were not disappointed. In addition to having fresh Mexican food, we were treated to a Mariachi Band that was fantastic! The food is always fresh and delicious; the service is superb, the place is spotless and the Mariachis were very entertaining.

Stopped in for a quick lunch as recommended by a friend and was not at all disappointed. Great atmosphere in a typical latino style, Cuban in this instance. Felt like I was at home in Puerto Rico except for the wrong colors on the flag design! We ordered cubano and an beef sandwiches, a cafecito and soda. Cafecito was espresso,... More

Great Cuban sandwich and maduros. Small but good service. This is great local food. The owner and his wife are very friendly.
