this place really knows how to make a New York style deli sandwich with quality ingredients. Great place for the locals and Florida visitors. Everything I have tried from their menu has been enjoyable and I always take my Florida visitors there.Everyone has been pleased.

Talk about a hole in the wall.. But don't be too quick to judge this book by it's cover. Great sandwiches, creamy potato soup, and service. My favorite spot to take friends.

Bologna sandwich was a Suprise and a treat, it was said the Rueben was the best ever and the beers were cold in a frosted mug. The signage and decor were very interesting, and the Dairy Queen is only a block away for desert.

I have eaten here multiple times and have tried almost everything on the menu, thinking something has to be bad here. It never is; the Red Mule is consistently a very good sandwich stop. Yesterday I had the roast beef with cheddar on an onion role. It was out of this world. Truth be known, everything I have had from... More

Upon a recommendation, friend and I had sandwiches here. Agree with last reviewer.....not much for the price. Expecting nice thick white bread, I got what reminded me of Wonder Bread! But the worst was the dust and cobwebs everywhere. The interior was interesting with "stuff" all over the walls etc. Really over done. But the dark atmosphere hides what looks... More

Be careful what you order here, as I made a mistake. I stopped in recently on a recommendation, and I have to say I was sorely disappointed. I ordered the Turkey Sub on whole wheat.....and what I received was a Turkey Sandwich on Whole Wheat Bread. For the price, I was expecting a Footlong Sub. When I think "Sub" I... More

When we first moved to Spring Hill someone told us about The Red Mule, which reminds me of a tiny restaurant in St. Pete (Corner Feed Store) that my grandparent's often took me to dine. Their turkey reuben is my favorite and the potato soup is delicious.

We have been going here for over 20 years. Same small, quaint, setting and mostly the same menu and the same owners. Their sandwiches are always fresh, with plenty of meat. Red Mule has a good selection of beer as well. A popular Brooksville favorite not to be easily outdone.
