This is a wonderful place for lunch with a friend. After reading the reviews first, I made the wise choice to call ahead and make reservations on a Saturday for shortly after they opened. After a half hour they were fully seated and there was a line waiting. There are many choices for lunch and they all look yummy. Soups... More

Good sandwiches, salads, wraps, soups. Only issue I ever had there is they run out of desserts a lot, usually down to just a couple if you go for late lunch, which can be annoying, especially if you take someone and have raved about their cakes only to find there aren't any. Place is cute with a floral design part... More

Gotta try the potato soup and sandwiches. Be careful because the mile high desserts stare at you the whole mealtime. Fun place for lunch. Always good

This quaint little restaurant has been the go to for home cooking. From great soups to shrimp and grits, it has the southern charm and hospitality that makes your experience inviting. As with anything left unattended for years, I have found that this favorite lunch spot is now questionable if it is even worth the trip. I can overlook the... More

This is a super place for lunch with friends for special occasions or just a lunch. Always good food at a reasonable price. Love to spend time at the florist in the building and the little gift shop. This is a real dependable place to lunch in Brooksville.

We finally arrived at this place out of season - so we could get in without a long wait. Boy, was it worth it. It is even worth the wait. I had roast beef with pasta salad - both were unbeatable. Wife had chicken salad rollup and it was also unbeatable. Might be more of a ladies place for lunch,... More

We love this cafe. Located in a historic home with awesome sandwiches and soups and salads. We have never had a bad meal. Seems the ownership could smile a little more but the food makes up for it

You have to travel a bit out of your way to find this place, but so worth the effort! Food is wonderful, but their Shrimp and Grits are extra special. Desserts are also special so save room. Wish they had more seating as it gets quite cramped when full and somewhat noisy, but that small flaw won't keep me away.

Mally Kyla's is charming and the food is wonderful. Soups, salads, quiches, sandwiches are all first-rate. Dessert is to die for - one of anything with four forks is plenty. Atmosphere pleasant, staff is efficient and it is fun to browse and shop in the two other stores in the Hawkins House which is where Mally Kyla's is located. This... More
