Description: Papa Joe"s Italian Restaurant has been a family tradition for 30 years...
Papa Joe"s Italian Restaurant has been a family tradition for 30 years. Papa Joe has personally constructed a diverse menu to fit anyone and everybody's taste buds, and each dish is prepared to order 'justa for you'. Whether you are looking for an aged tender steak, fresh seafood, or are in need of a carb fix, we got it! From the beginning, Papa Joe has prided himself in using the freshest and most whole ingredients available. In fact, many of the herbs we use are picked fresh from our herb garden and all of our dough is made on premises with a healthy blend of semolina and stone ground wheat. Restaurant Reopened After Fire...Better Than Ever

This restaurant recently reopened after a devastating fire. The cuisine was always quite good, plentiful, and reasonably priced, but the atmosphere was always just average. The newly rebuilt restaurant is lovely! The decor is very upscale, but not overdone. The restaurant is a tad out of the... read more

My wife and I had a long week from work and were looking to undwind and enjoy a good meal together so we decided to go back to Papa Joe's since its always one of our favorites. We arrived at a busy time and had to wait for 20 minutes but it was certainly worth the wait. I was actually... More

We came here after going to the Brooksville Blueberry Festival. We arrived at 1:30 pm and waited 40 minutes before we were seated. We came here numerous times when we lived in Spring Hill for 22 years. Since the rebuild after the fire it is not the same Cozy Homey place. My Wife had the chicken with tortellinis . It... More

Hoping things would be improved and back to how they were years ago be for this place became overly popular. Unfortunately it is still unorganized and the food has not improved. The chicken piccata was a piece of overly thick chicken that was way overlooked with a thick greasy breading. In all fairness there was no way to cook such a... More

With so many fair to good Italian restaurants in the Brooksville, Florida area it is hard to justify the prices charged at Papa Joes. Salad is an extra $ 2.00, the soda is uncarbonated and the food, in my opinion, was not worth the money. We were at Papa Joes many years ago and found the food at that time... More

I've eaten at this restaurant many times over the years. This is the first time I've eaten here since the fire and the rebuilding. This establishment was completely destroyed by fire. The food was very good. The service was very good. The prices are competitive for the area. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The portions are very generous.... More

We were traveling north on I-75 having left Tampa on a Saturday afternoon looked like we were in the middle of nowhere and then just coming up on the Brookville, Florida exit and my wife said she was hungry and so was I but neither of us wanted any more of the fast food you get on the Turnpike or... We had stopped by this place with a large group recently. Not sure if it was a lot of confustion (just recently opened up again) but it seemed to take us a while to get our food order in. The waitresses that we had seen would only do certain things either take the drink order or food. We had ordered... More

From the outside we expected an excellent dining experience as the building is beautiful. Once inside the changes to Papa Joes were evident. Unlike the cozy atmosphere of the former restaurant you are greeted with an almost institutional feel with tables lined up against the wall and so close you could eat off the small tables next to you. The... More
