Best German Food in Town

Having eaten at many german restaurants in the US, and all throughout Germany, we decided to stop in while we were passing through Brandon. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the chef was a real German. We were surprised to discover that a German restaurant did not have beer on tap and their bottle selection was quite... The jaegershnitzel was tremendous, delicate and delicious, cooked to perfection. The chef checked on us to make sure we enjoyed everything. The waitress was very friendly and knew the menu by heart. The restaurant is small but tidy, and is certainly the real deal. If you have ever wanted to try German food, then this is the place to endulge!

This is the best German food I have ever had. I had the Jaeger schnitzel. You could tell everything was made fresh. The chef came out to greet us and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone. Love it!

We had heard great things and finally decided to try for ourselves. It was way below average and won't ever go back. Appetizer pretzel tasted burnt. My meatball in caper sauce was awful. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes! The schnitzel was okay, and spaetzle was good, but the mushroom gravy tasted like it was from a packet. Beer... More

Drove over from Oldsmar for Lunch today and it was worth the drive. The schnitzel was delicious. The potato salad was heavy on the mayo- not what I was expecting. Hoping for more of the bacon fat and vinegar variety. The waitress was extremely bright and friendly. The food arrived quickly and the correct temperature.

Ate here Christmas Eve and really enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere and the pleasant waitresses. Enjoyed talking to them about Germany and the market that is held after Thanksgiving up until a bit before Christmas.

I really wanted to love this restaurant and have visited several times. I spent 4 years in Germany in the 1970s and my husband's mother is German, so I do have some experience with the cuisine. The decor and atmosphere re not spectacular. Some German street signs and photos. Menu offers what one would expect. A variety of wurst, schnitzels... More

Excellent German Food. If you dont know it, be aware that they pickle a lot of food, even beef. The Pork and Mushroom gravy was excellent. The Spaetzle was very tasty as well.
