We visit our friends in FL at least once a yr. One of our must go to places has been Prime Catch. The menu might be a bit slight on choices, but our dinners have always been excellent. And dining on the water (intracoastal) in nice weather is always a plus. Service is beyond good for sure. This year, we... More

I usually reserve an excellent rating for something special. Prime Catch is a fine, nice place, decent food, just nothing special. Honestly, you can get good fish in quite a few places throughout the Boca, Delray, Boyton area... just as good if not better. It's certainly no bargain, but that's fine. We came with a group of ten and most... More

The restaurants appeal leans toward the aesthetic appeal versus sumptuous food. Lovely overlooking the intercoastal waterway with its lovely lighting and workings. However, fish platter leaft a lot to be desired. Totally undercooked and totally not blackened although the request was for well done and moderately blackened. Waitress was fine but was not on top of her game. Not my... More

We have been there before and it was "ok". This time, not so much.. From the minute you get there, valet only, till waiting for the ridiculously high check, cured me of ever going back again. If you like fried calamari with 75% legs, plates with no side @ $30, and managers that want to convince you that what you... More

Went there on a whim. Turned out to be a great gamble. Food was tasty and presentation was excellent. Has nice large outdoor seating area with fans. I ordered the Maui Tacos and my boss ordered the Lobster BLT Salad and both were amazing. Our server was excellent. I highly recommend if you are in the area.

Came with a party of ten and we were sat upstairs. The decor could be updated. Feels a bit old and worn. We were the first of our party to arrive so we went to the bar. With the lovely view of the intercostal just outside, I was disappointed that there is no where to sit on the deck with... More

Have eaten here a few times and will continue to take all out of town friends and family to this restaurant every time. Sitting at the bar, the outside patio or the dining room our food has been excellent and atmosphere also.

My wife and I have dined here and found the food and service to be BOTH very goo d and very bad. Hard to figure. It isn't inexpensive, so you'd expect the food to be good, but it is always busy and out theort is that when it gets really busy, food quality declines and the service can be downright... More

This is a local restaurant for us, yet we'd never tried it. We were pleasantly surprised! The decor and atmosphere are extremely comfortable, the waiter was professional and polite. The salad was fresh and tasty and the escargots smelled delicious. I ordered the sweet potato encrusted grouper. Happily it wasn't overly encrusted. The fish was flavourful and delicious. My husband... More
