Flakowitz of Boynton Beach gives very good value off-season and very good food and portions!

I have been going to Flakowitz of Boynton Beach on a regular basis with my family. During the off-season months, they give very good value and lots of good food. I usually order their matzo ball soup and as a main dish, their ribeye steak with kasha vanishkas (don't think I spelled that right) and... read more

Whenever we are in south Florida, we stop at Flakowitz for their breads, cakes and goodies, all made there by hand. The Russian Coffee Cake is like no other on Earth. Hamataahen from heaven. Knishes that make wishes come true. Eat in and they start you off with a plate of one of their delicious cakes, usually a coffee cake,... More

My husband and I always made a joke that "The National Bird of Florida is The Early Bird". Out shopping all day we were ready for dinner at 4:45 . As we were passing Flakowitz we decided to try it. Up until 5pm dinner for two is offered for $29. That includes choice of soup or salad main dishes (including... More

True NY deli and bakery. Great everything but many abrupt servers and other personnel. If you are used to rude service, you won't mind as the food makes up for it. Bakery goods are divine as well. Worth putting up with the atmosphere cuz the menu is huge and delicious.

Our waitress was extremely friendly but the hostess seemed a little gruff. Food was great. No coupon required.

Ordered matzoh ball soup ... over salted and center was hard. Bread was stale. My sons hamburger was overdone and my omlette was swimming in oil ! Take the drive over to bens instead ......

My husband and I decided to stop here for a late lunch on a drive down to Miami because it had been featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. After waiting a few minutes to be seated (the place was packed at 2pm!), the hostess said "ok," handed us our menus then said "you can have that booth" and pointed us... More

We went there for Lunch today, delicious, real lean New York Pastrami sandwich, get to this restaurant early or you will have a long wait to be seated, food was delicious, featured by celebrity chef Guy Fieri on Dinners drivers and Dives, we will return since all was wonderful

Long lines to get a table around dinner time, but we already were expecting this, and that usually a great sign of how good a place is. It did not disappoint. Large size sandwiches, great french fries, different types of bread when you sit. Reminds me of an old style Jewish Deli/Restaurant.
