Delicious Food, Slow Service

The food was really good and even my very picky son had 2 orders of chicken satay. However, the service was slow and the waitress never returned after our food was delivered to ask how things were or offer more water. But, the food made up for the service and we would return with the understand... read more

I love the Thai offerings and sushi alike. My wife and I get take out from here about every fortnight. We have never eaten in, but there is usually a good crowd when we pick up.

Very nice, large and immaculate restaurant. Service was excellent and the decor was pleasant. However, the food was just average. We ordered Won Ton soup which was very good so our hopes for a good meal were high. Chicken Pad Tai was not very good and the California Roll looked beautiful on the plate but had some strange orange powder... More

the sushi we had was only average, and the non-sushi items--viet and thai were not good and not very authentic and came out less than best temparature. next to us also sent back dinner as cold. they were not quite 1/2 full and service was very slow as was the kitchen. even water was a problem as was getting the... We visited during a busy holiday week. We were seated quickly but after that the service was downhill. There were two servers in the whole the restaurant and they were also handling take out. The sushi was ok, nothing special. The chicken teriyaki had very little flavor. The most positive aspect was that the restaurant was handicapped accessible and accommodated.... More

Out of the ordinariness that is suburbia emerges an unexpected gem. A sushi restaurant where no sushi restaurant has any business existing. Look at the dessert menu first and you'll get a glimpse iinto the cornucopia that is the menu. Everything was fresh and delicious I will definitely come back.

On a rainy night it was easy to get a table at Sushi Yama. The food was excellent as was the service. The 'special' tuna roll was to die for! The orange chicken which we requested 'mild' was done to perfection! The portions are generous. We couldn't finish it all so were happy to take some home for lunch the... More

We first learned to eat at Sushi Yama in Boca Raton. When we go back there food and service are excellent. Cousins out here in the Canyons need to go back to Boca to find out what they are doing wrong. Get your act together with food quality!

Off our beaten path but so glad we found it. We both love Sushi and found everything very fresh. Service was very good.

Before ordering, my son went to the bathroom, and an employee was using the facilities, with latex gloves on. The employee went straight back to the kitchen without taking them off. This was unacceptable, but you don't want to complain before ordering! The host spent most of the evening on his cell phone. The waitress had trouble understanding our orders... More
