Went on a Friday night and it was crowded. Luckily we had reservations. They had Happy Hour with reduced prices on drinks which was nice but the food was not special. Our hamburgers were tasty but not great and our sweet potato fries were not crisp.

Read some reviews and decided to check this place. I do not know how I have survived not having tried this place sooner! After reading our good the bacon wrapped scallops were, I had to try them. OMG! These are amazing! I was curious for $12.95 how many you would get. These were three large, and I mean LARGE, scallops.... More

I threw a party here and my guest and I had a blast! The waitress was very nice as well. The spinach tortilla dip was creamy and delicious. The calamari was ok, but it was a bit soggy. I got the chicken marsala and the green beans were a little undone. The only con side about the party was that the... More

Wonderful large menu with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Very crowded in season and with good reason. They have an excellent choice of everything from burgers to entree platters. You will always find something good to eat at the tavern. Well priced food in a good surrounding but be prepared to wait December thru April.

The menu is can suit most tastes and the food is always decent. I have eaten there many times and have never had to send anything back. Hamburgers are awesome. My wife loves the salmon and the spaghetti squash. If you go between the hours of 5 PM and 7 PM, it would be advisable to have a reservation as... More

In my experience, restaurants make terrible New Year's Eve venues; they often overbook, keep people waiting or rush them out to make two settings, have stressed out staff and disappointing food at elevated prices. We had a 7:00 reservation at the Village Tavern on New Year's Eve. We sat down at 7:00. Our friendly waiter called to our attention the... More

First time here with family and for the most part it was pretty good. The service is a bit slow, and the one pet peeve I have in a restaurant, is the server taking our orders by memorizing everything. It never fails, there is always a mistake made. I don't understand this policy. There is nothing positive that can come... More

The wife and I dine at the Village Tavern several times a month. the staff members are very professional and friendly. We have never gotten a bad meal there and enjoy visiting this establishment. If you want to eat there after 6:00 PM on the weekends, make a reservation.

The dining room is large but it can get very crowded during season, on weekends, at certain dinner times. Food has always been tasty with good portion size and value for the money. Menu has many choices. Service is attentive.
