Description: You Can't Fake Fresh® - that's not just our tagline, it is the core value of the family owned and operated Pinchers Crab Shacks.Fresh is everything to a seafood restaurant, especially ours, and we try our best to deliver fresh seafood to your table each and every visit. Local fishermen and crabbers leave our shores daily and guide their boats out into the Gulf of Mexico to fish on behalf of Pinchers. They return each night with the best that the Gulf has to offer. They bring this precious catch to us and are one of the primary reasons for our success. In 2007, we purchased the Island Crab Company on Pine Island to serve as a fresh seafood facility for our restaurants. By having our own local facility, we can deliver fresh fish and shellfish to the table faster and fresher – whether its Grouper, Blue Crab, Stone Crab or some of the wonderful fish that you'll see highlighted as specials of the day.Local Fisherman fish Local Waters for a Local Restaurant. You can't get a more Southwest Florida experience than that, and that's what we mean when we say – You Can't Fake Fresh®.

The Pincher's motto is "You Can't Fake Fresh", but in my opinion, it was anything but fresh. You also can't fake good! We had an abominable dining experience from the frozen margarita's which were bitter and overly salty, to the sloppy and rude service to the food which was barely edible. Even the water had a fowl taste! The food... More

Pinchers is a small group of restaurants, but the rustic ambiance, being greeted with a fresh fish display when you walk in, great waitress, 70 cent specials on oysters (good size and cold), clams (middle necks and cold), and chicken wings that were small but delicious. After them ny wife had a delicious rack of baby backs with enough skin-on... More

Even though I rated the place great staff, bar & atmosphere, dinner was stone crab special that was not up to par....I was really looking forward to Stone Crab & ordered it with all the fixings. After enjoying a mug of beer, I was disappointed that the Stone Crab dinner was watery & without much taste. I'm sorry to write... More

Went there after reading flyer at hotel. Happy hour 70¢ oysters and clams were very fresh. Corn and crab chowder peppery and better than most.

Fast, typical food for this style of restaurant. Crab legs were ok, not large portions for what you pay for, Kids meal free with adult purchase when we were there.

Late dinner with the family. Drink specials were great! Blackened Tilapia was great as was the coconut shrimp. Busy place even later at night. Will return when we are back in the area.

Lots of seafood choices. I thought they were a little high on their stone crabs but they were good. The crab and corn chowder could have used a wee bit more crab, although bit was mighty tasty.

Crab and shrimp are delicious. Enjoyed stone crab and peel and eat shrimp. Fish and chips were disappointing. Gets crowded in season so be sure to make a reservation or come early.

We went twice to Pinchers. This is always a good value. I had the grouper platter blackened. I got a large supply of fresh cut fries and the baked beans also. The fries are always good and fresh. The baked beans are made with pork and they are very good. We have been going here for over 15 years, so... More
