You Can't Fake Fresh® - that's not just our tagline, it is the core value of the family owned and operated Pinchers Crab Shacks.Fresh is everything to a seafood restaurant, especially ours, and we try our best to deliver fresh seafood to your table each and every visit. Local fishermen and crabbers leave our shores daily and guide their boats out into the Gulf of Mexico to fish on behalf of Pinchers. They return each night with the best that the Gulf has to offer. They bring this precious catch to us and are one of the primary reasons for our success. In 2007, we purchased the Island Crab Company on Pine Island to serve as a fresh seafood facility for our restaurants. By having our own local facility, we can deliver fresh fish and shellfish to the table faster and fresher – whether its Grouper, Blue Crab, Stone Crab or some of the wonderful fish that you'll see highlighted as specials of the day.Local Fisherman fish Local Waters for a Local Restaurant. You can't get a more Southwest Florida experience than that, and that's what we mean when we say – You Can't Fake Fresh®.

very expensive for what you get

it was average food. $15-$18 for entrees that come with nothing. I think Red Lobster is better. If I were to visit again, I would choose a local seafood restaurant instead of a franchise.

Food was great here. Started out with oysters, new England clam chowder, and finished with soft shell crab. It was all wonderful. It's a fun place with pleasant staff. Don't miss this one!

Wife and I went to Pincher's on the advice of friends. I really had a hankering for crab cakes and ordered them after a pep talk on them from the server. My mistake. Mushy, and far from the expected "lump crab meat" description on the menu. Surroundings are typical mid level places like this, which is part of a chain... More

Not to my surprise, this place didn't impress me much. I had the grouper ruben grilled sandwich. It was a decent sandwich. I thought the clam chowder was tasty. Service and speed of food delivery were way below average.

Our family of four enjoyed our dinner so much we went here twice during our 5 night stay in the area. Two for one drinks, something for everyone to eat, a laid back vibe, and great service made for a great experience. Thank you Pinchers!!

I had fish and chips, tough to mess up you would think...the fat in the deep fryer had to be from another era! It was terrible tasting. The Wife had Stone Crabs which were good. If you must go, avoid anything deep fried!

We had eight in our party tonight and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. 1 1/2 hr later Cassandra the hostess told me thatthey were waiting for a large table for us. There were several large families who came in after us and were seated before us. Cassandra gave me and my wife an attitude when I... More

Of course, SEAFOOD! What's not to love, and you have to try it in this covered but "open air" dining with eclectic beachside-party-sports-bar type decor with the likes of "Spirit in the Sky" playing with your server's name attentively scrawled on your wooden table's brown paper "table-cloth". It's a fun atmosphere but bring out the charge card and be prepared... More

Food is great. Fresh and well done. Service is very good! Willing to accommodate as much as they possibly can to make the visit as pleasant as possible. Have not had a bad meal yet! Safe with anything you order!
