Very good meal

Third time to Fort myers Beach, first time to Big Hickory. Great food, great service. Little bit of a wait, just like everywhere else. Excellent Key lime pie too.

We have eaten here several times this season....Food is very consistent, I suggest their grouper sandwich, hamburger, fish tacos or the shrimp basket....All are wonderful!!! Service can be very spotty. This afternoon, we were seated 10 minutes before I went to the hostess and told her that we had not been approached by any wait staff.. She said that the... More

My husband and I each ordered a grilled grouper sandwich. Our food arrived almost instantly. The fish was cold, no flavour what so ever, the mayonnaise served with it was warm, not a good thing in 90F degree weather. Our waiter Oscar was very busy, when he came to the table to asked how our food was, I told him... More

We were lucky to get a seat right on the patio with a view of the marina. I ordered the grouper fingers and lobster bisque. Both were really good. Service was a little slow, but they were very busy.

We have been here a few times in the past and always had a great meal this time was no different! Started with 2 bowls of clam & mussels in a delicious sauce & w/garlic bread. My husband had the lobster stew, my mom the lobster & shrimp scampi and I had a broiled seafood platter. They were all wonderful... More

Had lunch here and enjoyed the view and food. Service was good. We had grouper sandwich and were not disappointed. Next to the restaurant boats come in with their catch and there's a place to clean the fish. Pelicans by the dozens are there waiting to catch the scaps. It was fun to watch while we ate. Would definitely come... More

An excellent local seafood restaurant . It is right on the bay. There was a wait for a table , but they have chairs on the docks to relax while you wait. In addition to the specials , they also offer their fished cooked three ways- grilled , blacken or bronzed. A nice casual fish restaurant.

It's Florida so it's nice to sit outside at a Marina and enjoy the view. But that's where this place stops. Advertised as best grouper sandwich....not! Very disappointing, very fishy, very not good and overpriced. Just a real let down for us after we got our hopes up for some great grouper. Guess if it's advertised as grouper, it's grouper....... Stopped in for an early dinner to avoid the large crowds. I do believe the server was a little overwhelmed with too many tables. Was short with one table but not with us. I ordered my usual fried shrimp. Hubby tried the grouper and did not quite care for it. But then again he was spoiled by fresh caught grouper... More

This is a good place for casual outdoor dining on the water. Always busy but the wait times are minimal. Nice menu with well prepared food.
