Delicious and large size portions coupled with excellent service made for a great breakfast! Our server Cathy, was not only cheerful but extremely helpful when it came to ordering. I had the vegetable omelet which came with two side orders. The two I chose were the home fries and the pancakes. The omelet was huge and the side of pancakes... More

This is a local place best known for its breakfasts, which is what we had. There are a variety of breakfast specials, but we stick to the basics - bacon, eggs, potatoes, toast. The service is fast, the food is hot, the portions are good, and the prices are reasonable. We often recommend this place for friends coming in out... More

The front desk clerk at my hotel recommended Tom Sawyer's. He said locals eat there. It was in a small strip mall. The menu is not overly extensive but anyone who likes breakfast will find something. I had the eggs benedict. The Canadian bacon was sauteed first and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The hollandaise sauce was from a package.... More

This busy place seems to always manage to fit in just one more group. The service is fast and friendly. The waitresses will help you get exactly what you are looking for even if it isn't on the menu and at a reasonable price. Every visit, I must include the Cinnamon Roll French Toast which is just decadent. We have... More

After all the over priced restaurant food we've encountered on this trip to Florida, we found this restaurant, where the food is fresh & well prepared, at a great price. My only complaint was there was no fresh fruit on the menu, but when everything else is great, it's a very small quibble. Looking forward to going back.

Based on reviews we decided to have breakfast at Tom Sawyer - whilst holidaying in boca raton. The eggs Benedict looked amazing - on the website that is. Seen as I love eggs Benedict I, without a doubt ordered it. Man was I disappointed. Firstly it did not come close to the picture - understandable, when does it ever -... More

Small, local feel, warm inside atmosphere with wood decor. Straight forward American breakfast, friendly service. Was only about 25% full when i visited 8am during the week, so food came out fast. They take Visa and MC, but not Amex.

I have been going to this place since high school(that was in the 70's!). I took my fiance there for breakfast and once again was very good. I was feeling adventurous so I ordered the chili and cheese omelette. Excellent. My fiance had eggs and french toast sticks which are a meal by themselves. The northwoods decor is cozy and... More

I'm down in s Florida for a wedding and we were looking for a breakfast place between Delray and Coral Springs to meet up...we found Tom Sawyers! Don't let the outside put you off...just down from the FAU campus this place is tucked into a little strip center. The decor is wood cabinish keeping in theme with its name. The... More
