Reasonable and nice

We visited this restaurant as it was rated one of the best on Google. Also it was a good change to eat good food which is reasonably priced, as the hotel we stayed in charged 80$ for two people just for normal breakfast. Here two of us could eat what we liked for just $16. Since I eat eggs alone... read more

This seems to be a locals favorite for breakfast that was consistently busy on a Saturday morning. Nice, cozy atmosphere . The service, with the exception of the cashier, was friendly and relatively fast. The overall food quality did not match expectations. The namesake, Tom Sawyer, had scrambled eggs that were very good but the bacon was thin and tasteless... More

I've only been here for breakfast, but I have never been disappointed. The service is always exceptional, and the food is delicious. They cook the bacon crispy, which for me is a huge plus and their french toast sticks are delightful. All this for a price that can't be beat.

I've been coming here since I was a toddler. It's not a cheap breakfast but it's stick to your ribs good, quick service and servings piled high. Can't go wrong with the croissant French toast or the Western scramble. Always get the fresh biscuits and hot coffee. Enjoy the wood booths and horse paintings on the walls. No frills place... More

The menu has an excellent selection for breakfast. I had sausage and bacon with scrambled eggs. It also comes with potatoes and three pancakes!!! Delicious coffee. My friend loved her croissant French toast and my other friend loved his corned beef hash. All dishes were cooked perfectly. Excellent service with a smile.

The wait staff was friendly and unhurried despite the place being completely packed. Not that we overstayed our welcome or anything, but we never felt the slightest bit rushed. Portions are very generous, especially for the price. The food is very good, home style, authentic. This was my first visit. I'll be back again despite it being a bit out... More

This is a perfect comfort food spot in Foo Foo Foodland. I had a great cheeseburger and fries, incredibly better than I would have anticipated. I have also sampled breakfast items, which were prepared exactly as ordered and a great Monte Cristo sandwich. Knotty Pine walls and booths, lots of wooden tables and chairs. Service from very experienced staff is... More

I've been to Tom Sawyer's for breakfast numerous times over the last 10 years, the most recent being yesterday. The service has always been good, although sometimes when the place is busy, the waitresses do get stressed. No matter what you order for breakfast, Tom Sawyer's usually kicks it up a notch above most other places. So, omelets have 4... More

A great place if you want a substantial breakfast. Timeless. Busy but efficient. Good Service and the food is high quality. The biscuits are noteworthy! Can be lines, but worth the wait.
