Seemed Fine to Us But We Were Guests, Not Payers

We were there for a family wedding and reception. There appeared to be some confusion at first regarding where to put the arriving guests but the wedding venue was lovely, the food was good, and we left before the midnight hour so we missed out on the rush to get folks out of the venue. Seeing... read more

This historic and very beautiful building is a perfect location for any special occation. We attended a business awards gala here but I understand it is a popular location for weddings too. The central enclosed courtyard has two very spectacular trees and the indoor areas will easily seat several hundred people. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding.... More

My son just held his wedding at The Addison. To begin the staff rushes you through everything and are very disrespectful . The staff was caught eating a Subway sandwich on the Bride & Grooms Table after it was setup. They were also caught trash talking the way the room looked. Also the wedding cake made by the Addison itself... More

I had the privilege of officiating several weddings at The Addison. It brings alive a historical building and to get married under those beautiful banyan trees is quite magical! The staff is attentive and always a pleasure to work with. Take the time to walk around and enjoy the architecture of the 1920’s. It offers great background for amazing pictures.

The Addison is a restore villa, apparently once owned by Addison Mizner who built a fabulous resort in the 1920's only a couple of miles away. It is the charming open air Mediterranean style of architecture that is romantic and reminscent of days gone by. We were there with a large business group (about 300) and the staff had no... More

Our wedding was the night of our lives and I have the Addison to thank for it! We feel in love right away with the beautiful architecture and GRAND banyan trees! The food and service are truly 5 star! They took charge and coordinated all the details that night so that we could ENJOY every moment. My guests are still... More

Formerly the staff quarters for the Resort. Excellent atmosphere, visit the courtyard and take the tour. Food was excellent and wait staff was very attentive. Building and interior are worth the visit and your meal will cap the visit.

The Addison is right out of a storybook. It's a restored 1920's estate and 5-Star Diamond awarded venue that needs very little to be impressive, charming and romantic. This venue stripped of all the fluff is still exceptionally beautiful and my experience last night attending a wedding here was nothing less than stellar. Tucked beneath the banyan trees was one... If you are looking for a location for your special day, avoid The Addison like the plague. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible they were to work with. For the tens of thousands of dollars people pay to have events here, they could at least be cordial on the big day. I was involved in the planning of a recent... More
