I have been a costumer for about 5 years. but stopped going for a couple more, and decided to come back last weekend to have dinner with my couple. the great experience started since the moment a young lady and a young men approached to open the door for us, then after once seated, the server reached with a big... We are regulars. We quite often order very simply the la completa ( black beans rice and platanos). The food is consistently delicious. They have special mojitos they make with fresh fruit. Highly recommend this local Cuban restaurant. The decor is nothing fancy.

I have been a customer for about a decade. The food, service, and price have been consistent. In the decade that I have been a customer I have never been unhappy with the food or service and that is more than what I can say about most restaurants these days. In fact there is only one other restaurant in the... More

The Padrino owes me a favor. Not very good. Bland croquetas, "tamal Cubano,"and empenadas. Of the Lechon Asado the pork was extremely dry. Also, all of the items we ordered were 3-4$ more than what tripadvisor menu showed. 18.99 for my churrasco steak. Bogus. A real lover of food will pass this place up. Its food is bland and prepared... More

This restaurant is within 10 minutes from my home but I hadn't eaten there in quite a while. This was a mistake on my part. The food is really good at a very reasonable price. I like chicken with black beans and rice (with a side of plantains) and was not disappointed. My wife had virtually the same dish but... More

Padrino's promises to be a local Cuban with authentic flavor. But it turns out to be far too ordinary. My advice is travel further, and get the real thing.

Having previously lived in this town, each and every visit I make sure to get back there for dinner. Still love the food, prices are so reasonable that I am amazed it isn't standing room only . Decor could use a bit of sprucing up after all these years. Menu selections are authentic and entrees are hearty portions. Service is... More

We felt like we had walked back 50 years into the pre-civil rights era. They placed my family and I in the back of the restaurant and checked on us once for every 5 times they checked on the other tables. I refused to leave. Left a minuscule tip to send a message, but will never return.

Have been to this Padrinos on more than one occasion . The staff is courteous and attentive and you are always greeted with a smile. The best Cuban food around the area. The atmosphere is fine and the customer service is exceptional. If you like Cuban cuisine I would recommend it and if you haven't tried it yet, I recommend... More
