Out of the way kitschy place that is worth a stop

It is a good bar and grill turned novelty. I did not care for the sangria; kind of cool-aid like. The pulled pork sandwich was really good. the fish dip is okay. I would love to live near by and try everything else on the menu. The waitress was telling another customer that the grille yellow... read more

The place was very crowded of a windy chilly day - Nobody wanted to sit outside. That kind of lent itself to the ambience as we formed a short-term community with others waiting for seats and with servers checking their receipts. This is an iconic stop in the Keys, and the atmosphere is a large part of its reputation. You're... More

Very long wait for a table. It seemed there was only one waitress working the upstairs. We were seated, no menus for a while, longer for beverages. The waitress made some odd comments at time. The pizza was excellent even though it took a loooong time to arrive.

Enjoyed just meandering off the overseas highway and finding this bustling bar. Sat outside for conch fritters (11 small piping hot fritters) and sangria. Kathy, our waitress, was friendly and efficient. All the tables were full, and I was surprised to see the only other server outside talking it up with one table while customers waited and Kathy was hustling.... More

The Pub is a hidden treasure. The menu has several varied entrees, as well as pizza. I was visiting with friends so we just ordered a few pizzas, which were delicious. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Refills on iced tea and soda were free.

The best thing that you can eat here is the pizza. These are really good. Make sure that you have some 1 dollar bills that you can place in... More

Been here many times and food has always been excellent. However, this meal was a disappointment. My husband ordered fried mahi. It was very hard outside and tasted like prepared fish that you would expect from food service or grocery store. We told our server which she gladly told the kitchen and brought out another one which was exactly the... More

Heard a lot about this place but it was not what is was built-up as. Service distant and aloof like I was another tourist to get in and out. Food okay. Good pizza. Fish sandwich nothing special. Kids love putting dollars on the ceiling with a message. not sure I will go back to see if our dollars are still... More

Interesting tourist spot...everyone knows about it even though it's tucked way back on Big Pine Key right before you go over the bridge to No Name Key. Food is mediocre...you pay for the novelty of dollar bills hanging all over the walls and ceiling and to buy a tee shirt and say you were there.
