NOT a place to eat proper Italian

you want to pose to mingle to be seen thats the right place but unfortunately the food is not the best the spaghetti al granchio were tasteless - precooked and at 32usd very pricey maybe their carpaccio are better !!! anyhow a place to rub shoulders with the bal harbour crowd .to see and to be seen

This place has been in business for ages!! The quality/value ratio is great, comfy atmosphere, service is very good and rotation of tables is quite fast so waiting time to get sit isn't that bad specially for Miami peak seasons. Regular pasta portion can feed 2 average guys, so I always ask for half and is more than enough... The... More

Four of us went to Carpaccio's Valentines Day night. For me, somewhat curios location among high-end shops-Bal Harbor, in Miami Beach. Thirty minute wait-perhaps because of Valentine's Day. Restaurant is attractive. Many waiters and table service employees. Everyone is hustling but not a distraction. Top notch service by everyone. Very Italian menu. Food was good for sure, but not great.... More

The food was good, no doubt about that. They worked with my gluten free requirements. Our server was very attentive. Although I think the food was good, it was pricey based on it's location and the obvious money in the area. We went to other restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale and Delray areas that were MUCH better (Cafe Seville and... More

A highly recommended italian cuisine. The rissoto is a sensational plate. The waiting time was quite low in my first times in there. It has high prices.

I just get back to Miami after 6 hours flight. It should be my first meal. Was looking forward. I should have a dinner with a friend and she was late because of the traffic. And they didn't let me to sit at the table before she came. Like they should be sure that I'm taking a table for 2... More

We ate at Carpaccio upon recommendation and proximity to the St Regis (across the street.) They don't take reservations but we didn't think it would be a big deal on a Tuesday night in February - uhhhhh - WRONG! The place was jammed! People were everywhere and the restaurant was in full swing! We were nervous about asking the hostess... More

AWESOME DINNER! Sword fish and portobello carpaccio and Ceasars salad! Honestly I have to say this: Nice place but it was so full that table were too tight and half of my chair was in the middle of large plants. Waiters are very polite but you have to scream loud to be heard, they really need to open their eyes... More

The best thing here is the salad with radicchio, fennel and arugula. You can have it topped with shrimp, or even scampi, if you ask. The flattened veal chop is delicious and comes with this same salad on the side. Beautiful atmosphere on the patio at Bal Harbor.
