We live close by but always wanted to see what it was like at the hotel as we have heard much about it. Upon checking in they gave us a standard room which was not what we paid for. Once we entered the room it was obvious they had made a mistake. The standard room was plain and drab. I...

the waiter just wasn't interested and the food was totally without imagination.....and this was the green room!
We just celebrated my mother's 92nd birthday at the Green Room with their famous Sunday Brunch. This is our third trip for her birthday, and, once again, they made her feel very special. The room is lovely, with beautiful china and silver, an orchid at each table, attentive staff and a skilled piano player. The buffet part of the brunch...

The Green Room has long been a place for special events. I've had my engagement, a few wine dinners and a thanksgiving dinner there among many others. The service has usually been great, but I have seen a change in the quality of the food in the last few times I've been there. For the price, the food should be...

We have been to the DuPont several times, to the brunch and for lunch. Handicap accessibility is good, particularly if you use the valet parking. The interior setting is exquisite; very Olde Worlde visually. The linens, tableware and serving pieces are all elegant. The brunch is pricey, but luscious. Service can vary from superb to inept-if you are lucky in...

If you want a fancy night out this is your spot. The service is very good but can be slow if they are busy. Good for a special occasion.
I have been having dinners at the green room and staying at the hotel DuPont since I was a child. This restaurant is beautiful, Old European style, and the food excellent. Prices are reasonable so what's not to like. Whenever I'm in the area,I have dinner here. Great for special occasions.
I've eaten in the Green Room for all meals. The problem seems to be in the lack of creativity in the menu. The offerings are nothing special so you would expect them to be exceptional in taste and quality. They are not -- there is nothing special about this restaurant other than its historic and beautiful architecture.
Favorite evening out with someone special ....incredible food, art that could be in a museum and hotel rooms that could rekindle a relationship.....
