Basic Neighborhood Italian - at it best!

Don't expect anything fancy, or even a checkered table cloth. Nothing has changed at the place except the prices in many years. The prices are very fair, possibly on the low side given today's food prices. The chopped antipasto is not fancy but it is a great appetizer to get started. The fried... read more

Our favorite spot in Delaware! Homemade pasta! Great sauce! The best ravioli's ever! Very popular fried hot peppers ! Antipasta, fresh homemade soups daily, Great eggplant parm! Love the shrimp scampi and my husband loves the stuffed peppers! I love chicken parm with a side of ravioli! Casual comfy cozy! Family owned and operated- friendly! Just the best

Great food with a casual, comfortable atmosphere! Like eating in your Grandmas or great Aunts house! A charm all its own! Try the Hot fried peppers! Wow! Lots of water needed though! And the wedding soup! Our favorite is the antipasto chopped ( or not) ! Veal spezzato with a side of Rav's! Or Chicken Parm with a side of... More

I haven;t been to Attilio's recently and I probably won't go back again in the near future. The only memorable thing about the dinner was the Hot Peppers appetizer, they never get old. Other than that, the service was good, but the food was average.

Although the menu may be considered to be limited by some, what they do make, they do well. Very homy atmosphere. No reservations are taken and sometimes wait can be a little long on weekends. All the better when you can snag a half price Groupon.

Small, local, old-fashioned Italian restaurant...not very fancy...no parking lot...on-street parking not always easy...not the greatest neighborhood...BUT the food makes it all worthwhile. The absolute BEST sauce in Delaware...the absolute BEST gnocchis you will taste ANYWHERE! Awesome manicotti. Friendly waitstaff, friendly owners always on hand to greet you, in my family's opinion, there is no other place to go in this... More

I must start by saying Atillio's has always been my favorite restaurant in Wilmington. Not just my favorite Italian restaurant, but my favorite restaurant. Period. I had not been in more than a year, until today. My family does a monthly lunch and chose Atillio's for today, as it was a special occasion, the 91st birthday of my Uncle Joe.... More

I'm picky about my ravioli. I've been a fan of Mrs. Robino's for 40+ years, but have recently switched my ravioli taste buds over to Attillio's. To me, they taste like my friend Maria's mom's homemade ravioli from way back when I was a kid. Don't get me wrong, this is not an upscale fancy place (yes, the decor is... More

Our dining experience was very pleasant. The food was very good. I had lasagna, my husband had manicotti and two extra meatballs. I had three martini's, my husband four bottles of Bud. Our experience turned sour after we rec'd the bill. We were charged $74.75? We were charged $22.00 for the Budweiser. My husband asked Monti the price of the... More

For us this is a neighborhood spot for frequent informal pasta meals, where the staff is friendly and accommodating, lots of families, and consistently great food. So it is troubling to hear reviewers bash it for being "in the 'hood" or worse yet "the ghetto". The location is a main, well-lit intersection on the south edge of Wilmington's historic Italian...
