The visits and meals experienced at this location have been a consistent disappointment. Joes Crab Shack chain in Delaware is not my first experience with the company. Joes Crab Shack in Louisville was definitely a cut above Delaware. Joes Crab Shack in San Francisco was definitely a cut above Wilmington, Delaware The atmosphere is noisy, unimpressive. The service was a... More

Drinks served promptly, food took way too long, about a half hour. We asked the waitress for cocktail sauce and that took another half hour. We finally had to ask a server walking by and he got it for us. Food was fish and fried clams, average in taste and quality. Restroom was blocked by waitress, not allowing anyone in.... More

Loved the ambience and the friendly waitresses, didn't expect them crabs to be so damn tasty, after all ..not all what they say on TV is false...:) loved the place, but best with a bunch of old friends, and lots of spare time, I had a quick lunch this time around, but will return again for the laidback affair..

Usually not a fan of chain restaurants but I thoroughly enjoy myself when I come here. The py play fun music and the servers dance, although this location doesn't do it nearly as well as other cities. My favorite dish is the crab pot, but be careful because they each lack over 2,000 calories! Can't say that the food is... More

I don't know if it's just me or Joe Crab Shack don't taste the same. I would stick to the steamed pots but fist and fish sticks are disgusting

My husband loves this place. Always gets the steam pots. I try different things. Everything is good. Good mixed drinks. But it is so loud/noisy inside that we only eat out on the patio. Very crowed and long wait in the summer, off peak not so bad. Also, since it's seafood, not the cheapest place to eat.

I only gave this a very good because I do not eat crabs or fish, but went with a group who did. They loved it. My hamburger was ok.

LOVE the Steampots at Joes!! Great for families of any age. My young guys love the menu, and the playground outside. Nice area to walk along the river if there is a wait. A family favorite!!! And the decor at this Joe's seems to be quite unique from the rest.

Food was just ok. same with service. It was crowded and noisy. Kids seem to love it. I saw lots of families there.

The overly peppy atmosphere includes very loud music, silly shenanigans by the wait staff and clutter everywhere. The seafood is often overcooked and just not very good. There is always a long wait which I just don't get. There is a playground which might attract some parents.
