4 times this year we have flown out of Phila Int Airport, and each time we check into the hotel we run right out to dinner at Joe's. It's always fresh and tasty, and a good value. It was the busiest we have ever seen the restaurant and still the service was upstanding, they missed nothing. Hubby bought me a... More

I'm going to give Joe's Crab Shack a very good rating. Simply because my wife thought it was OK, but that's about it. She has very high expectations for seafood. Maybe a bit too high. This was our first time eating here. Now my son and I liked it and want to go back.He got the Snow Crab Bucket and... More

I have been here a couple of times, it's relaxed atmosphere, music playing, outdoor seating, seafood in buckets, you get the idea. The crab cakes are pretty good, prices are moderate and seating is mostly booth, lots of noise in here so don't expect a romantic dining experience.

Food was good, and the crew had so much fun, I know they love their job. This place is one big party.

We visited Joe's on a Friday evening. While they were busy, we were seated immediately and our waitress was helpful and did a good job explaining the menu. We ordered their version of a hurricane (so strong we will only serve you two). It was very sweet and very light on the booze despite a liquor leaning description. We ordered... More

The quality of food at Joe's is not what it used to be. The salads are huge and the new Lobster Cobb Salad was decent but my husband's fried seafood platter was terrible. The crab cake was heavily breaded and the other fried seafood was soggy. The crabmeat stuffed mushroom appetizer was overloaded with cheese and bland stuffing. Food at... More

I went with 6 kids for lunch during our visit to Delaware Children's Museum. Everyone was able to order their own meal from the pictures on the kids' menu (even the 4 yr olds) and they all enjoyed their dishes. The crayons and games on the menu kept them occupied, as did the on-site playground. Our server, Melissa, was really... More

The food was very good here. I ate outside, with a view of the river and a crew from the local college rowing on it. The service was friendly and fairly fast. I enjoy seafood and thought the prices were quite reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys seafood. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I... More

Very casual, low-down atmosphere. Not loud and just perfect for a quiet lunch. Priced very well compared to the other restaurants in the vicinity. Lots of parking.
