Who would guess that you can find wild caught shrimp in this local Italian neighborhood cafe? It is "Carolina Shrimp" on the menu and was tasty and well prepared. I am spoiled from eating shrimp in the South and have to pass on the imported farm raised shrimp dishes I find everywhere else up here. The other italian dishes are... More

This is a tiny, neighborhood Italian restaurant that serves excellent pasta and veal dishes in addition to apparently being a popular local pizza spot. We had seafood gnocchi and veal saltimbocca, both of which were excellent. The friendly, Italian-born owner oversees the restaurant as well as the kitchen and his exuberance pervades the restaurant. The place was packed on a... More

Good Italian food, small, cozy dining room, we were there on a Sunday evening before a rescheduled Dupont Playhouse show. Our waitress was friendly and food arrived quickly, only a couple of other tables occupied, though there was a steady takeout business. Chicken with artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes and penne with vodka sauce were our choices, very tasty, and more than we... More

We had some time to kill before a flight out of Philly and drove down to Delaware to shop and wanted a quick place to eat lunch. We found this Italian restaurant based on Trip Advisor. They had pizza by the slice and they warmed up in the oven. The BBQ chicken was very good.

I picked this lunch spot based on its location and Trip Advisor reviews, and it was excellent! In contrast to one review, we followed the Trolley Square signs instead of the GPS and met with success. It's at an intersection loaded with restaurants in an interesting Wilmington neighborhood. Parking is a bit of a hassle. I had the Cobb salad... More

For a traveler, not from the area, better take your GPS, because you'd probably not easily find the restaurant. It's in a fairly nondescript shopping strip in Trolley Square. Don't let the first look fool you! It's truly a magnificent dining experience. The food is great, truly homemade Itallian flavor & the added feature of Ilallian music in the background.... More

Thanks again trip advisor reviewers! This little place in a strip mall knows how to dish out some really tasty stuff. Delicious crusty bread with herbed olive oil was a nice start. Fried calamari with marinara sauce was a huge portion of tender rings, the chicken parmesan was yummy with my side of linguini aglio olio that was outstanding. My... More
