Delicious food, charming atmosphere, friendly staff, gracious host. This only begins to describe this little treasure in Wilmington. The owner is absolutely delightful, goes out of his way to make your experience enjoyable. Wonderful food, amazing frites with unique dipping sauces. This is a MUST try!

My wife and I decided to eat a late dinner on a recent Friday in Wilmington and this restaurant was highly rated on tripadvisor so we decided to give it a try. The ratings are spot on. Jacques runs his bistro just like the family-run eateries in many European cities. Don't let the name fool you... this is not an... More

It has taken us awhile to experience this restaurant. The reviews were great and was excited to finally be able to eat here. My husband and I both started out with salads and they were very good and fresh. I had the capellini with clams. It was very good. I'm not a negative Nellie but there were two incidents which... One of the best experiences of my life. Mona Lisa Euro Bistro hosted the rehearsal dinner to my wedding and was an absolutely wonderful venue. The food was exquisite, the staff friendly and helpful, and the owner (Jacques) was not only helpful and creative, but also generous. Since it was a large party, I had the unique experience of being... More

Had dinner here last Saturday with some friends! The food was fabulous. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection (medium) and the peppercorn sauce was quite tasty. The flourless chocolate cake was a great dessert. Highly recommend this place!

My Husband and I don't eat out a lot but we have dined at an array of places in our home town of Wilmington. We are not foodies or epicureans by any stretch but do know a find when we encounter it. Mona Lisa has the charm of a neighborhood pub and the cosmopolitan allure of some of those out-of-the-way,... More

We are very sorry to hear that you did not have a more satisfactory experience during your recent visit. Since the owner is always on the floor during dinner service, I'm sorry that you did not say something to him that night so that he could have corrected the situation immediately. Since we want all of our guests to enjoy... More

The service was excellent. Warm, courteous and helpful. The appetizers were good. Mussels were deemed to be very good. Several of the main course meals were dry, overcooked or drenched in sauces; at least one was sent back. Schnitzel was good. We did have a large group, which might have effected the experience.

We used to go to Mona Lisa's under it's old ownership, and always enjoyed it. It has, however, come under new management... and we LOVE IT! Escargot in Wilmington?! Finally!! The menu is definitely European, but with a few classic dishes as well. We have eaten here twice in the past 4 weeks, and it keeps getting better. The orzo... More

I have visited several times, always a pleasure to be greeted by the owner and staff. The schnitzel is fantastic, best I've had. But you must try the onion soup, you will not be disappointed. The Mona Lisa is perfect for any occasion!
