Had a pretty good salad with steak. Some more fresh vegetables in the salad would have been preferable.

Airy restaurant with great decor and good food and understandable items also for people who are just veggies. All-in-all a good fare.

Food was better than average, good beer selection. Lots of tv's for watching sports. Servers were attentive and well trained.

Great home away from home pub that I visit when in Wilmington on business. Always a great selection on tap. Great fish and chips, grilled tuna, burgers, etc... Not much of a culinary adventure, but always good, always a great time.

In town for one night, just wanted a couple beers and got lucky with this place. Nice bar with plenty of seats and a damn good beer selection on tap. Good service and felt welcomed when we went in.

I just ate at the Washington Street Ale House. My initial impression was someone negative. I entered the pub and decided to set at the bar. The bartender was over at the back of the bar talking to what appeared to be a regular customer and watching TV. After a sarcastic comment, the other bartender took my drink order and... More

We spent two nights at the Sheraton downtown in Wilmington, DE, and ate at this restaurant both evenings we were there. The menu is diverse, and there is something for everyone. The restaurant is on one side, and there is a sports bar on the other side. The second night that we were there the soccer finals were on TV,... More

My significant and I used to frequent the Washington Street Ale house at least 3-4 times a month for dinner. It's good in that the late hours allow for dinner for those who are on the go constantly and want to spend quiet time together. Before I resided in Delaware 4+ years, I used to go here for food and... More

I work in Wilmington on occasion, and when I do, I make an effort to get down to the Washington St Ale House. I've only had burgers and beers in there, but I always really enjoy the food, the great selection of beers and ales on tap, and friendly, relaxed atmosphere. During the working day there's a nice sandwich shop... More
