We had a large group for dinner (9). The server was not the best, got our drink order wrong. Now, that is easy to do with a lrg group, but not when 6 people had the same bottle of wine & the others had beer.We started out with some appetizers; fried pickles & Calamari. Now I love fried pickles, but... More

Once a year my family and I spend Christmas in Wilmington, Delaware. I seize the opportunity to meet a friend and have dinner with him on December 23rd. We always go to the Columbus Inn. They offer many different micro beers and the food is excellent. It is fresh, tasty and well-presented. The service we received was fast and efficient.... More

The food overall was very good however the service was slow at lunch. Very nice atmosphere and food, although I thought the portions were small. The staff is very nice and helpful.

This is a good Sunday brunch option to go with family but don't expect any stellar or innovative items from the buffet. It is a good value if you actually eat items from several of the stations. There is an eggs and meat carving station ( I had to ask if they had a different cheese than the parmesan and... More

My friends and I dined there two Thursdays ago and were absolutely delighted. The decor, the hosts and servers, and the food were wonderful! I love the new renovations---adding a classic comfort to all the rooms. Great location, with parking on all the streets surrounding once the parking lot fills up. Even an adjacent office parking lot across the small... More

There are a few places in the area where you can get a larger buffet with more choices, in the same price range, but this spot was more convenient for our group, and none of us had actually been there in quite a LONG while, so we wanted to try it. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there, that... More

I visited the Columbus Inn after seeing the Downton Abbey costume exhibit at Winterthur. It was too early for a heavy dinner, so we went to the tavern side of the restaurant for happy hour. I had downloaded the "3-6-9" happy hour menu from their web site that morning. Everything fell into one of those three price categories. I had... More

I dined at Columbus Inn on 7/31 to celebrate my birthday. I made my reservation through OpenTable, which was convenient - I was able to reserve a specific table in the restaurant. For appetizers we had the fried pickles and the tomato mozz salad - both were delicious. We ordered a bottle of cabernet franc, but were served a bottle... More

Had a wonderful experience here the 4th of July weekend, the Ci Cioppino was exceptional. The service was great. We took advantage of a 20% off coupon and booked through OpenTable.

we didn't find many options, and this was the best of them. impressed with the number if staff per guest, but the menu selection was weak and not clear - we had to ask soecific questions on some of the entrees in order to fully understand what they were offering. good bar scene.
