A very pleasant surprise!

There were 3 of us. Started off with the fig flatbread;prosciutto, fig jam, gorgonzola - I've had it before and it was really good. This time it was mostly jam - hard pressed to find the drop of cheese and prosciutto. Also had the stuffed boat peppers - they were long and not overly hot - very... read more

I was Looking forward to dining at Capers & Lemons, called to make reservations for 2 ..they don't take them for 2...so we waited for 25minutes while they sat several parties of 4 & 5. That was annoying . Wait staff was attentive & friendly..best part of dining here. Food was mediocre at best...I had chicken piccata which barely had... More

Grandson's dinner party, Triple Crown, Great Food, Excellent Service......did I miss anything! Nice atmosphere, wonderful staff! I'm convinced you could pick anything on the menu and have it be successful. I chose the Chiopino...shrimp, clams, calamari over linguini. Was very pricey mostly due alacarte style, but we had lotsa money.

Generally when we visit the greater Wilmington area we end up at at an eatery at Christiana Mall. Good friends recommened Capers & Lemons. The food was over the top. Everything is alacart so you can run up a tab quickly. With drinks , salad and entree, our bill was $80 before tip. A bit higher than we xpected to... More

Took my wife & daughter to dinner on May 9 2015 for what I thought would be a great meal. Unfortunately, I was wrong...something ha changed at this restaurant. Our meals were bland! It almost seemed like they made the sauces in one pot, heated the meat up & then poured some sauce over the meat. In my opinion the... More

I've always ordered pappardelle noodles with bolognese. I was told today I was not allowed to substitute a fresh noodle for a dried noodle. I'm sure fresh vs. dried means something to them but not to me, especially since they've always allowed this in the past. If it was a matter of price I would have gladly paid extra but... More

It is a good Italian restaurant with variety and savory. Good for business dinners. At dinner time is crowded and can get a little noisy.

Restaurant does not take reservations for dinner. It's a popular place, so we had a 30-40 minute wait to be seated. Dining room is large, crowded, and very noisy. There's a more than adequate wine list. On the plus side, service and food were excellent. Large food portion sizes were provided, so we all needed doggie bags, which were perfectly... More

Much like all of the restaurants in the Platinum Dining Group, Capers and Lemons offers consistently good food, expertly served in a beautifully appointed space. Every time I've visited, I'm politely greeted by the host/hostess. Service is fast and efficient, but I've never gotten the impression they are trying to turn the table. The servers are clearly well-trained, and know... More

First, I have eaten both lunch & dinner here, and have been most satisfied. I will pay the price is food & service is good. My son's rehearsal was a disaster and this disaster cost me greatly. My husband and I visited, liked the room (was told it would handle 30 no problem), left a deposit and signed their contract.... More
