Good italian...

It is a good Italian restaurant with variety and savory. Good for business dinners. At dinner time is crowded and can get a little noisy.

Generally when we visit the greater Wilmington area we end up at at an eatery at Christiana Mall. Good friends recommened Capers & Lemons. The food was over the top. Everything is alacart so you can run up a tab quickly. With drinks , salad and entree, our bill was $80 before tip. A bit higher than we xpected to... More

Okay. What happened to this place? Have frequented over the last few years and wsomething changed. Manager, I guess seeing the disappointed looks on our faces, approached our table and shared that that they have a new chef but it's gotta be much more than that. Was back again and the eggplant was not only so small it looks like... More

Took my wife & daughter to dinner on May 9 2015 for what I thought would be a great meal. Unfortunately, I was wrong...something ha changed at this restaurant. Our meals were bland! It almost seemed like they made the sauces in one pot, heated the meat up & then poured some sauce over the meat. In my opinion the... More

I've always ordered pappardelle noodles with bolognese. I was told today I was not allowed to substitute a fresh noodle for a dried noodle. I'm sure fresh vs. dried means something to them but not to me, especially since they've always allowed this in the past. If it was a matter of price I would have gladly paid extra but... More

Restaurant does not take reservations for dinner. It's a popular place, so we had a 30-40 minute wait to be seated. Dining room is large, crowded, and very noisy. There's a more than adequate wine list. On the plus side, service and food were excellent. Large food portion sizes were provided, so we all needed doggie bags, which were perfectly... More

Much like all of the restaurants in the Platinum Dining Group, Capers and Lemons offers consistently good food, expertly served in a beautifully appointed space. Every time I've visited, I'm politely greeted by the host/hostess. Service is fast and efficient, but I've never gotten the impression they are trying to turn the table. The servers are clearly well-trained, and know... More

First, I have eaten both lunch & dinner here, and have been most satisfied. I will pay the price is food & service is good. My son's rehearsal was a disaster and this disaster cost me greatly. My husband and I visited, liked the room (was told it would handle 30 no problem), left a deposit and signed their contract.... More

I have been here many times and always have a great experience. The other day I went for lunch and ordered the shrimp scampi - It was the best I have had and after talking to a manager he told me the chef had set out to make this dish exceptional. I enjoyed great service and a glass of red... More

Always trying to experience new restaurants in town, but now that we have experienced Capers & Lemons, it's our "go to" restaurant. Even had our son's rehearsal dinner there. The food is always good, and the service has always been phenomenal as well. Highly recommend the salmon and the short ribs. Tiramisu is the best ever.
