Capers & Lemons is always a great value meal with an excellent environment and freindly service. The Manager does a nice job running this restaraunt. Wine menu is reasonably priced. We always stop by the bar just to relax. One of our favorite restaraunts in the area. Great for business dinners also.

The meal started off poorly when the reservation I made a week ago and confirmed the day before was not honored. I am not sure why the hostess thought it was best to question me over and over again and suggest how I was confused about my reservation. It was very frustrating. Thankfully everything pick up after the poor start.... More

After visiting Winterthur, my friend and I went to Capers and Lemons for lunch. Although a little hard to find, it was well worth getting lost! Very quaintly decorated in an Italian bistro style, the staff was attentive and friendly. It is an open and airy feeling restaurant and the food was excellent. I had a home-made pesto pizza with... So..if you don't mind paying $24 for about 3oz of veal (in the saltimboca) and a pound of mashed potatoes...or the $21 for about the same ratio of chicken to potatoes in the chicken piccatta then this is the place for you! The food was good, but prices are about 25% too high for what they are delivering...and then there... More

My wife and I met two friends at Capers & Lemons for a Saturday night dinner. I wanted to make reservations but they don't take them for parties under 5 which I think is a really stupid rule. As a result, we got there early to get our name in. Our total wait was about 20 minutes which wasn't too... More

we might have ordered to much stuff to eat but did not expect the antipasto and the main course portions so big (huge for european standards). The calamari were very goog but the pasta was overcooked. The wines were a disappointment (tried the two sauvignons on the list) and they were definetely poor for the price paid. Desserts were ok.... I do frequent this place but I'm not terribly enthusiastic about it. I think it's the best 'family Italian' option within Wilmington. It's not like Wilmington offers a lot of options. I think the worst thing i can say about this restaurant is that it's a local budding corporate run restaurant with a corporate feel (think Romano's but a bit... More

Although the establishment is a bit basic on the outside the food served is excellent and the portion sizes quite generous ( or maybe I'm just used to NYC skimpy portions). I made the mistake but had the pleasure of ordering the fried polenta appetizer and when it was received I knew I would be having difficulty since I also... More

This is where to come after a crazy day at work and hang out with friends. You begin with a fun happy hour and after a while, grab a table and enjoy a lovely dinner, freshly prepared. When the weather is nice, a table outside is a pleasant option.
