This was our first time here and we stopped here on Father's Day. Friendly staff and the food is really good. Lots of selections, fun retro decor and fairly priced. Kid-friendly. Eggs Benedict was yummy, scrapple egg sandwich was huge and the pancakes are big and good too. We got there early on a Sunday but it was busy (line)... More

It's rare that we can find an american-style restaurant that can cater to our half-vegetarian, half-omnivore family. This one hits the spot in terms of variety and taste! The veggie burger (my fave) is delicious and diner-y and the bun is so good. My son LOVES their pancakes. "MORE PEPPAKES!" he always says. Both my SO and my sister loves... More

I recently had breakfast at Lucky's Coffee Shop. It was a really good experience from start to finish. This is definitely a place I would frequent and I plan to return next time I am in town. The atmosphere was just great. It was like a greasy spoon diner, but in a much classier way. The dining area wasn't busy... More

My wife and I ate here for breakfast on our way to the Winterthur museum. My wife had the eggs Benedict which she said was done to perfection. I had a sausage and cheese omelet, home fries and a biscuit. Omelet was good, the home fries better and the biscuit was great. The only thing I didn't like is that... More

Had breakfast with my wife at Lucky's this morning on our way to Longwood Gardens today 5/17/14. Very tasty, quick and polite service. We enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

We were visiting family and stayed in a hotel nearby. The parking lot was full and the place was packed. We were seated quickly and the waiter was very good. We each ordered omelets. We were hoping to just get eggs and bacon...a simple breakfast but the omelets came with potatoes and were pretty pricey with very few mushrooms and... More

I always opt for the local diner over the franchised fare, especially in the Mid-Atlantic part of the world where the local hash slinger often turns out to be the best option. I even developed a 100-point rating system specifically for evaluating diners. I've long since lost the rating system, but I can tell you that Lucky's would not rank... More

After reading another reviewer blast the home fries.....sure they were deep fried but they are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, hot and delicious!. Got the Monte Cristo sandwich which was probably not the best choice. Saw omelets and breakfast sandwiches coming out of the kitchen which looked more appealing. Oh....and did someone blast the sticky bun??... More

We've been to this restaurant many times and it has always been "okay." Nothing special, but an affordable place for breakfast in a pinch. However our most recent visit was beyond awful. Everything – from a wait twice as long as expected, to terrible coffee – was the experience this time. Worst of all was our waitress, who was rude... More
