I'd seen this restaurant on Restaurant:Impossible. Since I was traveling in the area, I thought I'd give it a try. I was surprised at the condition of the outside of the building. It's had very little upkeep. Inside, it looks pretty nice, but cheap. Even after the re-vamp. The service was sssssllllloooowww. I ordered the chicken sandwich. It was very... More

The reason we say that is because the place is so small that you can't hear the person you are having dinner with over the music. They advertise 7pm but this guy started at 6:45. I got the crab melt and it was really good. Kind of reminded me of a real skinny flattened crab cake vs creamy like other... More

The outdoor marquis boosted "good ole home cooking" so we tried this restaurant for a late lunch. Our other choices in the area were only a diner, Waffle House, and maybe a fast food restaurant. We like to support family-run and independent business; we walked in hungry and enthusiastic. Our waitress was very friendly, if not overly informal. She told... More

There is a reason why it was on TV. Do you like muskrat? Lots of family dynamics going on, we surely wasn't expecting the waitress to tell us all negatively about her bosses etc.. Over breakfast.. We gave them a chance... We won't go back

My husband loves to try new foods, so when he heard about their speciality of Muskrat he couldn't wait to try it. We arrived for lunch, and the service was good. The waitress was prompt and friendly. My husband was not so sure how good the Muskrat would actually be, and mostly wanted to try it as something new. He... More

We have been there 3 times since the re opening. Will not try again. First time the food was ok, but slow and they didn't know the menu, asked what kind of dressing for my salad and I said ranch on side. The salad they brought out already had a balsamic dressing on it which I couldn't see, but figured... More

Have been to this restaurant twice after the revamp. The inside looks good - bathrooms are still little holes in the wall which is OK. The food is decent, I would say average comfortably. I went in for breakfast twice - had the crab omelet which was pretty good, the second visit I had some meatloaf egg concoction which was... More

We live right in Smyrna & went to the Wagon Wheel before the remodel 3-4 times, mainly breakfast. Was a run down divey kinda place but never packed so it was pretty fast service and you didn't have to worry about the noise. Well my parents were visiting us and we decided to give it a try for dinner because... More

We returned here to try the new menu after a recent television makeover. We were sadly disappointed. The new menu was very short and the food choices were quite limited. One of the lunch specials we tried to order, the home made meatloaf, was not finished cooking, and would not be for another half hour after our arrival. As it... More
