If it's bar food your after...

Smittys is known for its bar food menu but more renouned for its bar which is always crowded. I would not make a special trip just for the food. It's like many of the same tourist places around here.

This is a down-home pub style restaurant you will want to visit again and again. They do a Sunday Funday that lives up to it's name. They had a band playing, my favorite, Randy Lee Ashcraft. They call the drummer Phil the Bucket. Guess what? He was playing a Lowe's bucket like a drum! Their wings are always good, but... More

Overall the food was fairly good although, the fries didn't arrive until other food items had been eaten. Service was slow with only one waitress and several large groups eating. Other tables were complaining about food orders coming out of the kitchen wrong. No I am sorry for the delay or offers to compensate for the long wait to any... More

The wings here have been my favorite since my college days 20 years ago. There are many flavors to try. Regular and old bay are my favorites. The crab pretzel is delicious as well. Great beer on tap and you can watch any sport while dining. The atmosphere is casual, the prices are moderate, and it is a great spot... More

We have been going to Smitty McGees since my oldest was 1 year old. She is now 17. It's a simple place that has really good wings, beer, service, etc. Just a really friendly place and always consistent. I have never been disappointed.

Went in for lunch waited awhile for server. Ordered wings and salad. Wings were good, salad fair looked around no one was there. I asked what happened to all your business... Lot of competition I guess... Server said we are getting rid of NTN bar game said no one was playing it and it costs 400.00 a month. A fun... More

Been here many times to watch out of town football games. Staff very attentive, Nice setup with 51 TVS to watch NFL games. It's the most TV's of any sports bar in the Ocean City Bethany Beach area. The only knock on the place is the food. Food is 'ok' and a little pricey. The portions are a little skimpy... More

Nachos were excellent. Like the addition of chunked tomato. Lots of cheese. Crab pretzel was soft and cheesy. Little light on crab taste. Service excellent. Above average menu selection and quality.
