A very nice surprise. Good food, service and a nice atmosphere. If you are expecting NYC type of French restaurant, you shouldn't be looking in Seaford. But for the area, this is probably as nice as you can get. Good menu selections, good wine list. No beer on tap, but a nice bottle selection. Make sure you get a reservation

BY and large, the food was outstanding, from start to finish. My only criticism would be a limited choice of soup, 2 kinds, neither which I like. I had stuffed mushrooms, salad, no soup, filet mignon with Bordaliase, and chocolate mosses for dessert. A nice glass of reasonably priced wine with dinner and coffee with dessert. Very good, not quite... More

not Sussex county, not Delaware, not the Mid-Atlantic, just Seaford. I understand why this place gets so many great reviews because there is nothing else in Seaford. I was taken here for my birthday and had high expectations based on the reviews. Out of the five dishes we had two were excellent, two were average, and one wasn't good. The... More

We went there on Halloween after a 5 hr drive down to the area. The staff was very attentive but it did take a few minutes for someone to come seat us. Everyone was very friendly. The mussels were good (coming from someone that dislikes mussels). The clams, mako shark, and duck were excellent. The egg custard seemed more like... More

Instead of the expensive and cute restaurants of Rehoboth or Ocean City, take a short ride to Seaford, Delaware and enjoy a very good meal and experience at Bon Appetit. This small restaurant has been operating out of a store front in Seaford for over 20 years. We have been coming here off and on since it opened. Always consistently... More

Stayed in Seaford with family and they suggested we have dinner at a little restaurant in town- we were not expecting much in the way of food/ambience...what a delightful surprise! The drink menu and wine list are so well- priced and the menu offered something for everyone-fish, fowl, beef and vegetarian. The dining room is so quaint with its Victorian... More

who would think you would find such a quaint restaurant with an awesome team of people. I called the restaurant at 8:45 pm knowing they close at 9:00 wanting to know if they will still serve us, the person on the other line said as long as your here by 9:00 we will serve you. You can imagine how we... More

Lyd picked Bon Appetit. She and Margaret each started with a glass of Reisling (7). Lyd had a bowl of French Onion Soup (5.95) and Margaret had the same, but without cheese. I had the Shrimp Bisque (4.50). Margaret had the baked oysters (15.95) and Lyd had Eggs Benedict (9.95). I had the Tuna Steak Salad (15.95) which, ordered rare,... More
