Not just for beer drinkers

The wait for a table inside was too long so we opted to eat outside on the porch. Although it was somewhat shaded, it was very hot out there and not really comfortable on the high stools. Our waitress Lauren made up for any discomforts. She was excellent. She gave suggestions for those wanting... read more

My family and I went for dinner, so that my husband could try the beer. Next time he can just by a six pack and we will go to dinner some where else. The food is horrible! The atmosphere is typical of an old brew pub. The hostesses were pleasant, but our waitress was rude. She rolled her eyes several... More

We love that Dogfish Head sends a text message when your table is ready so that you don't have to crowd at the door to wait for a table. The food is decent - the shrimp and grits and burgers were good. There is seating upstairs and downstairs so plenty of tables making for a petty short wait even during... More

As annual visitors to Rehoboth, we always make a stop at Dogfish because my husband is a true fan of their beers. I am not a beer drinker, so I must settle for the food. This creates a bit of a dilemma for me, as I am not a fan of the menu at Dogfish. The appetizers are not very... More

The draw is the beer. The rest is an add on. I was able to select from a large menu of beers, one of which I had never had before. It was excellent. The food is an add on and not gourmet. .but it was not the reason to go there. Since this is a resort restaurant, there were many... More

I had a salmon burger and fries and my wife had a cheddar burger and salad. Our server was excellent and the beer was wonderful and cold. If I'm ever in Rehoboth Beach again, this is a great place to eat!

They have a great selection of beer but food was ok. Really wanted their pretzels but they had a problem that day and were out of them. Wings were good. Fried pickles needed to be cut into thinner slices. Falafel was very tasty. Fish tacos were excellent. Crab cakes were just ok. Go for the beer and appetizers!

Not mine, theirs. I wanted to love this place and we did love part of it. We walked a long way for a rather late dinner with 3 kids. It was super loud in the restaurant, which was fine as it's a brew pub and it was late. Plus it drowned out my loud kids. I got the corn and... More

Had the pleasure to eat at Dogfish Head twice and both times were excellent. When you go, make sure to order the pretzel bites as an appetizer and save the sauces for your main course. I had both the indulgence burger and the chicken and waffle sandwich an both were great. Lastly, you can't go wrong with any of the... More

I really enjoyed both my lunch and dinner at Dogfish. The restaurant can be loud, the servers can be a little inattentive, but the food and drinks make it worthwhile. I recommend the fish and chips and the pretzel bites.
