The chef at Confucious is inspired. We dined here for the first time and were blown away. I had the Cumin Beef, my partner had the Crispy Shrimp with Walnuts. Words cannot describe the pure joy our taste buds experienced while savoring these dishes. I am an Asian food junkie and I will be back...often.

Delicious for lunch and dinner. Very popular for brunch on Sundays. They owners are very friendly and will to accommodate requests-extra spicy, mild, etc.

This is not a typical Chinese restaurant. We went on Chinese New Year but they were not dooing anything special. That was fine as the very well-prepared food with the extra thought was worth the trip. When next at the Beach and wanting Chinese food, we will stop here.

My husband took me there for my birthday. This is not your typical Chinese restaurant, this is so much better! We will be going back again and again. The staff is so friendly too.

How can a dinner at a Chinesse place not end with fortune cookies????? Food wasn't bad, but found it to be expensive. Overall, not a good value.

We make a point to visit Confucius whenever we are in Rehoboth Beach. The food is very good and better than many that we have tried in Washington DC. The menu is best experienced through the Chinese tradition of shared dishes. The vegetable dishes are wonderful. Service has always been friendly and tiptop during our visits in the slower season.... I suspect your service will greatly depend on the server and the time of year you choose to visit. For us, it was a Friday night and we had steamed halibut with ginger & scallions, Five spiced duck, Walnut shrimp & scallops, and Hunan Beef along with Thin Skinned Dumplings as an Appetizer. The Hunan Beef was about the same... More

Ordered a chicken dish and wonton soup and was shocked to pay $25. (7.50 for soup) Wow. I should've checked the prices first. We have eaten here before and really enjoyed the food and dine-in environment. I guess I didn't recall how expensive it is or the prices have gone up. For the price, we were disappointed with the chicken.... More

I went here for a special occasion. I live locally and this place is expensive. I have heard mixed, but mostly good reviews in past years from people I know. So when I went there I expected high quality food. We requested champagne for the special occasion and all they had was a cheap one serving bottle that we split... More
