We had a delicious meal at Confucius. We had the wonton soup and the chicken ginger soup. Both were good. We had thin-skinned dumplings and these were good too. The beef stick appetizers were good but for some reason, our kids weren't really interested in these. I enjoyed the chicken friend rice. It had good flavor. The general Tso's chicken... More

The food at Confucius is delicious and fresh. It is lighter than most other Chinese restaurants. The Dim Sum on weekend mornings is highly recommended! So many wonderful choices!

This gem of a Chinese restaurant was everything we expected it to be after seeing all the many awards and Trip Advisor notes all over the windows. A reservation is a good idea since this is a very popular restaurant. My ONLY negative is that, on the night we visited...The overwhelming noise level was so unexpected and made conversation difficult.... More

I am sooooo not a fan of Chinese food. I usually find it so salty, so processed, and just not good. Confucius was the exception. Delicious. Fresh. Not overly salted or processed. I've never been to China, but I can only imagine that this is how authentic Chinese food tastes. My husband and son, who do love Chinese food, loved... More

Avoid the kung pao chicken, were not impressed by the soups either - the veggies and tingling beef were fantastic. Do book - gets crowded.

Confucius was recommended to us by a friend who had visited last year. We were greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff. Our waiter was very attentive and explained to us the fresh and slightly spicy quality of the food. We ordered the Chicken with Chinese Eggplant, Black Pepper Beef, Buddhist Delight, and Veggie LoMein. Each of us had soup,... More

I just went there with my family and was turned away. We were told they couldn't accommodate 6 people - as I was staring at a table of 6. We weren't offered a wait time. Just take out. We were appalled by the whole exchange. My only guess is they don't want families.

My wife and I passed up this restaurant on the past couple trips to Rehoboth Beach, but this time we made a point to eat there and were happy we did. The inside of the restaurant features hardwood floors and understated decorations, making you feel like you've entered an ocean of calm from the usual whirlwind of the boardwalk. Service... More

2 years ago I wrote a review on this 1st Class one-of-a-kind, authentic Chinese Restaurant. I can safely say that the restaurant has gone from great to super-great. The owners and the staff will prepare dishes you've never had anywhere else, and will go out of their way to prepare it to your personal palette. Like it mild? It will... More

While most people overlook Chinese food as an option while at the beach, missing out on this gem is a big mistake. If you're a regular or plan to dine out multiple nights on your trip to Rehoboth you should definitely add this to your list of must dines!! Not only is the food great and the staff friendly and...
