After reading everyone's reviews, we decided to take the time for one breakfast out during our stay at the Beach View Motel next door. We got in early, so we didn't have a wait. We sat in the walkway between the front part of the restaurant and the back room. The floor was stable and our table kept rocking and... More

I too have been enjoying breakfast & ice cream for over 30 years !!! Sandi305 has no clue !! This family restaurant has it down. They have been doing it right for almost 34 years. It's the number 1 place for breakfast serving high quality food and service forever. Hey Sandi305....do us both a favor and find another place to... More

Royal Treat was located right next to our hotel so we knew we wanted to try it out. We were lucky one morning and were able to walk right in as we didn't have a preference to sit on the porch; the next morning the line was backed up to the sidewalk, so we were glad we went when we... More

Asked for eggs over medium, they were over easy. Asked for crisp home fries, they were burned black. Had to ask twice for butter and finally got butter so cold it wouldn't melt on the French toast. A server (not ours) came over to fill our water glasses and was intercepted by another server (again, not ours) and she told... More

Although there was a line to get in at breakfast time (opens at 8:00 a.m. - would recommend going very close to 8 or a little before!), the food was very good, and the servers were able to keep up with the crazy pace. The atmosphere was just ok, but hey, it's breakfast!

I'm so pleased that places like Royal Treat still exist in the world. This fantastic, family-run ice cream parlor takes you back to a simpler time and puts you at ease. If you're in Rehoboth--you have to stop by for an ice cream cone on their screened porch to relax and let the beach environment soak in.

This is my fathers favorite place in Rehoboth to get ice cream. He loves you can sit down and enjoy your ice cream, in classic flavors, like an old fashioned ice cream parlor. It is spacious and clean. Also no soft serve or unusual flavors here, just classic ice cream and sundays!

Yes, They serve a great breakfast but what I want to discuss is the Ice Cream Parlor it becomes in the evening. They have the best shakes, banana splits and sodas but what I'm talking about is their "ICE CREAM SUNDAYS". They first line the sunday glass with your choice of your sunday of choice. MIne happened to be hot... More

It's the best breakfast in town without a doubt. Simple, home cooked style breakfast that can't be beat. Whether you have eggs, French toast, or cream chipped beef, get it with their Italian toast. It makes the ordinary extraordinary! For a little bit of atmosphere if you're not in a hurry, wait to sit on the porch. Its's fun to... More

This place is great. An old converted house made into a restaurant/ice cream parlor. Superior breakfast food. Try the french toast or the cream chipped beef. Service is a bit slow, but this place is worth the wait.
