Best fries in Rehoboth, try the vinegar

The best fries in Rehoboth and they legendary fries of Rehoboth beach. Don't forget to put on the vinegar. Just wish they had a place to sit down.

When in Rehoboth Beach, skip the candy stores and head to Thrasher's Fries. They are the true food to accompany a stroll on the boardwalk. Served super-hot, they are just right with a crisp outside and soft inside -- almost melt in your mouth goodness. Pricey, but worth the splurge. Since I live locally, I stop by and take them... As a boy and now man who went to Ocean City and Rehoboth during the 1960s70s80s90s00s,etc.. If you ever go to the beach here---you have to get a bucket of Thrasher french fries. you can get a small cup too if you're alone or with a partner. Sorry.. no kectup..just some vinegar to squirt on it.. It's a real big... More

Gotta have 'em!!! Good stuff, but one gripe....they don't provide ketchup. So if you don't like vinegar, and salt just doesn't completely do it for you...you'll have to hoof it down to five guys, buy yourself a burger and get some ketchup while you're there. It's just a walkup window...and there is one on each side of Rehoboth Avenue, and... More

Right on the Boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach, Thrashers has been selling french fries (and virtually nothing else) for decades. The fries are the best you've ever tasted. But the taste comes from ungodly amounts of fat, grease and salt. So you really don't want to enjoy this particular American treat too often.

We have been getting Thrasher's fries for years and don't get tired of them. They are a delicious treat every time. We love the flavor from the peanut oil. As posted on this site, they are great with vinegar and salt, although our teens prefer their own without vinegar. Beware of diving seagulls knocking the bucket from your hands...one flew... More

For me, these are the only fries in town. I usually have ketchup but Thrashers means vinegar and it tastes so good. What a wonderfully greasy, salty treat for the beach.

No ketchup...what? My husband was shocked. Thrasher's boldly addressed this issue in red letters on the menu. After trying their fries, my husband realized that there was no need for ketchup. The fries are perfectly done & not oily. The medium ($6) we shared the first day made me crave for me so we got the large ($9) the next... More
