Beach get-away to Rehoboth, DE

The two of us dined at a(MUSE) with friends in early May 2015. We were hosted by their son, one of the partners in the restaurant. Chef Hari presented us with many examples of his culinary creations. And they are very creative. Like white anchovy on brioche with egg yolk and herbs. The house... read more

Good wine menu and very unique offerings that change with each season. Friendly wait staff with no rush dining experiences.

We stopped by before leaving Rehoboth Beach on our last day. A local recommended the Happy Hour Menu, and we were not disappointed. We had Cheese and Lavash, and roasted Jerusalem Artichokes. Delicious. I got the house red, and it was just ok. But then, it was the house wine! We will go back, food was good. We were there... More

What a fortuitous choice of nights; when we arrived there was only one other couple in the bar (week night, off season). Having looked through the menu we thought that giving the Chef his head and opted for the Four Course Tasting (we were not disappointed what so ever. Each course was full of flavour, explained to us by our... More

My wife and I were in Rehoboth Beach and ventured over to Baltimore Avenue. Out of numerous restaurants within a two block area we walked into "a(MUSE)." It's easy to walk right by them because there signage and frontage on the avenue is small but their flavorful tastes are tremendous. This was our first visit so we had no idea... More

Had dinner on a Saturday night, calamari app and scallop dinner with a bottle of wine, husband had the clam chowder which was excellent and he had the chicken dinner which was also very very good. Service was excellent as usual. I can always count on this place for a good meal and very good service. Now, how to get... More

I visit Rehoboth about every two months (I live outside DC) and always dine at a(MUSE) on Sunday night. I've never been disappointed. I've had the tasting menu a few times, but lately have enjoyed the $19.99 family meal....the best deal in town. All the staff go out of their way to please. Food is creative, fresh, and delicious. Can't... More

Did the 4 course New Years Eve menu. Two of us. Two choices each course. So we did both columns. 8 choices. From rabbit frois grois to the death by chocolate it was all a mixture of great tastes and great textures. Service was super attentive and made sure we had plates for sharing.

My overall experience at Amuse was excellent. We had a business dinner with no detracting issues with the food, service or atmosphere. Service was warm, sincere and attentive but several slips - they didn't have our reservation but had room so no problem, served a soup by accident that we didn't order and they comped it and it was outstanding.... My husband and I went to aMuse on Saturday night based on Zagat's comment about the restaurant being a potential James Beard candidate. We were seated pretty quickly and decided to order the 4 course chef's special. The meal started off with a mussels sour ("picked mussels"), followed by a thinly sliced pear salad, scallop with roasted turnips and apple,... More
