Amazing octopus! Great service!

This was my first trip to Shorebreak and I'm a local! The menu was very eclectic and I chose the marinated and grilled octopus. I've had octopus in Barcelona and I thought it was wonderful there, this was by far much better. It was tender, flavorful and even attractive! It came with roasted... read more

I've dined at Shorebreak Lodge twice in the last month. We went back the second time because our first meal there was excellent. Our second visit didn't disappoint. The menu changes frequently but some staples are the cheese plate (scrumptious) and the wild mushroom bruschetta (wonderful flavor). The Thai Chili Wings were another hit at our table. The grilled octopus... More

The restaurant is a stone's throw from the ocean. It was super clean, and modern in new decor. We were greeted immediately by the hostess, and given a menu, with explanations. A small bar added to the ambiance of the place. Parking was on the street right outside the building. The food was fresh, plated nicely, & seasoned to perfection--and... More

We were looking for a nicer place that could accommodate a vegan & omnivore... Success! We were both happy. Great food, good options, & very affordable. If you come for happy hour to start- a huge bargain bar menu & drinks.

Because of groupon, we decided to give this restaurant a try. it was wonderful. Happy hour till 7. We had Thai wings and Mussels for appetizers, they were great. Then for dinner we had Scallops with butternut squash and also Shrimp and Grits. Everything was very tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. We are so glad we went there... More

Shorebreak Lodge was a welcome respite from the boardwalk chains and the insane no-reservations policies at other restaurants. After waiting for over an hour at a packed seafood restaurant, we hit Trip Advisor, made reservations quickly, walked down the street, and found this great place. Fresh, flavorful fare, well cooked, a top-flight atmosphere both indoors and on the patio, and... More

We liked that you can order half portions to share and try many dishes. The Thai Wings were great as were the mussels in marinara sauce. Service was superb. It was crowded for a cold January night.

We had one of the best dining experiences in a long time here -- everything put in front of us was beautiful, delicious, fresh, and a little bit surprising. Service was excellent: friendly and very attentive; Atmosphere is modern and comfortable. The prices were absolutely reasonable for the fare- and I liked that we could order smaller (app) plates for... More

We went on a very busy Friday night right after Christmas. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and helpful. He warned us that two large parties had just arrived and we should get our orders in before theirs so we wouldn't have to wait, which we did. The food came out promptly and was delicious.... More

My friend and I both ordered the burrata We should have only ordered one but not knowing the portions here are huge, we went ahead. This grilled bread was spread with a fruity olive oil and a perfect portion of creamy burrata cheese, then topped with slivers of roasted red pepper and a small drizzle of balsamic glaze. Too good!... More
