Description: 133 steps to the Atlantic...Blurring the boundary between a night in with friends, and an evening on the town, coastal gastropub cuisine, eclectic wine, handcrafted cocktails, cool beers, laid back livin'. We are locally owned and operated establishment. We start with what we call our kitchens mantra from Julia Child; "You don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces, just good food from fresh ingredients." Our interpretation is too not get in the way of the food, let the ingredients speak for themselves. We mix this altogether with a nice selection of handcrafted cocktails (a must these days), craft brews, and wines, throw it all together in a relaxed beach cottage atmosphere, and try our best to provide you with the friendliest service we know how. There you have it: Shorebreak Lodge.

Shorebreak Lodge is a great addition to Rehoboth beach dining. The atmosphere is beachy, casual, and just slightly sophisticated (leather chairs) but definitely child friendly as there were a lot of kids whooping about the place. I had a grilled Opah ( hawaiian moonfish) special with grilled farm veggies; it was a massive, perfectly cooked piece of fresh fish served up... More

We had a great meal at Shorebreak, with a really nice selection of small plates and range of game and really good seafood. The mussels, octopus, shrimp and grits and other dishes are really fantastic. The beet salad and kale salad are nice complements to the fish and game. Highly recommended.

We were skeptical because there are so many places to eat and when we arrived we had a made a reservation 3 days before. We had the best dining experience ever. The best mussels in red sauce/broth with garlic, pesto style pita with a magical taste of brie cheese and sunflower seeds, red peppers & raisins. I would have been... More

Had made reservations for dinner 6 people after checking trip advisor and their "on-line menu" making SURE that there was a variety of dishs too satisfy all. Plenty of selections that were not seafood. We were seated and handed menus and it was stright down hill from there. Their menu was not even close to what was advertised on line.... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. I dined here with a small group of foodie friends and we enjoyed every bite! The baby kale salad was fresh and flavorful, and give the shrimp and grits a try- amazing! The fancy fries were a hit at the table and the bartender makes a fabulous cucumber... More

The kids were happy with hot dogs and hamburgers but the adults shared a few dishes tapas style. We reordered the fancy fries, devoured the shaved sprouts. Could have passed on the succotash though. Great for foodies. One of the best in town.

Had another great dinner at Shorebreak - so many choices, large plates, small plates, deserts, great cocktails, wine options and wonderful craft beers. This is easily one of the best restaurants in Rehoboth and the surrounding area. All four of us loved our meals and the food and service compare favorably with NYC nad DC.

After dropping $480 (my half) for 3 nights in Rehoboth (it's a beach-town-not London) my wallet needed a break. The Shorebreak was perfect. They took reservations (imagine that), provided great service and the food was good and the prices reasonable. I heartily recommend it.

We stumbled upon this charming restaurant while looking for a night out and a break from the traditional coastal meals. The ambiance was nice for a date or couples. The service was prompt, attentive, and friendly and the prices were not overdone. My wife was pleased with her beat salad and octopus salad. I ordered their unique take on surf-n-turf,... More

My family dined here last night & we had a fantastic meal - scallops were cooked to perfection. Everything from the salads to dinner was fabulous. My children (6&7) enjoyed the shrimp & grits & scallop appetizers as their dinner. My husband & I had the shark & scallops & braised short ribs which were absolutely wonderful. We will definitely...
