133 steps to the Atlantic...Blurring the boundary between a night in with friends, and an evening on the town, coastal gastropub cuisine, eclectic wine, handcrafted cocktails, cool beers, laid back livin'. We are locally owned and operated establishment. We start with what we call our kitchens mantra from Julia Child; "You don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces, just good food from fresh ingredients." Our interpretation is too not get in the way of the food, let the ingredients speak for themselves. We mix this altogether with a nice selection of handcrafted cocktails (a must these days), craft brews, and wines, throw it all together in a relaxed beach cottage atmosphere, and try our best to provide you with the friendliest service we know how. There you have it: Shorebreak Lodge.

Upper east side of Manhattan at the beach

Had a great meal here. Much higher end food than I would have expected at the beach. Great seafood including octopus and scallops. A bit noisy to sit in the bar area during happy hour but drinks were great

My girlfriend and I ate there twice last year because the first night there was so good. So when we were in Rehoboth Beach for the day we had to go again. We were not disappointed. We wound up having the same waitress we had on our second visit last summer. This is a good sign. She knows the menu... More

Looks unassuming from the outside, but don't be fooled. The food, service and vibe are great! Upscale menu, fresh and tasty. Good for couples or other adult nights out.

I love the surf and turf (but I would've liked a little more surf). I made a reservation online and requested a table by the window. Didn't get it. I don't think they read any special requests. We ate dinner during happy hour so it was a bit loud. The watermelon gazpacho was surprisingly spicy. Not a bad dinner but... More

Make no mistake, there are no shortage of fantastic dining options in RHB and a number of them like Henlopen Oyster House, Salt+Air and Blue Moon are well known and extremely popular. Though all of those establishments are top notch, Shorebreak Lodge is quickly becoming a comparable option that should not be missed. First off, the happy hour here is... More

We ate at Shorebreak two years ago and couldn't wait to go back again this year -- it did not disappoint! Wonderful menu, great staff and reservations are accepted (not many of the good restaurants in Rehoboth take them).

Went here for my husbands birthday dinner. Ordered shrimp and grits. A bay leaf was hidden and I choked. Literally. Still charged for the meal. Very disappointed.

I have walked by this place for years and never really looked at it. After reading reviews, we decided to go here for a date night. The decor is beautiful, sort of a modern beach vibe. Our waiter was awesome, very knowledgeable of the menu, gave great recommendations. You can customize your order to suit your needs/tastes. Everything is fresh.... More

I don't do a lot of reviews as I find them often biased by the expectations of the writer, but this was a must for me. Went to the Shorebreak Lodge on a whim with my wife, daughter and friend. Menu which changes daily, was eclectic and offered a range of cuisine. You know how some restaurants do something's really... More
