Have been to this restaurant very many times. Unfortunately, the excellent happy hour has gotten so crowded that it is difficult to get a seat in the bar area. What I love is that they have a large variety of unusual beers and that the list changes often. The bartenders and servers seem to be very knowledgeable about all of... More

This place is phenomenal! The oysters are so fresh, I ended up eating nearly two dozen on my own. I loved the sampler - it really gives you the chance to try oysters from different regions and compare them. So much fun! The beer list is unique and varied, and the wine list is equally varied. We really enjoyed the... More

The happy hour specials on beer and food are great. Service is really good even when it is crowded at the bar. They oyster shuckers were very helpful with info and let us try a couple even tho we are not big oyster fans. Great place.

This was our second visit to the Oyster House and we returned because of our exquisite experience the first time. We had a table for four on a Sunday evening at about 6:30PM. We had a lovely, young waitress who explained some of the items on the menu and we ordered four different entrees and my buddy and I decided... More

Food was good of coarse the oysters were the highlight, my scallops excellent. My husband thought his fish was a small portion and just average.............excellent selection of beers. Service slow for off season but good experience overall would go back.

I read the last review about a lackluster server but saw none of this as all staff were on point and attentive. Seating was immediate and the server did a great job of steering us to what we wanted to order, including beer choices. Everything was prepared well and was extremely fresh. If I lived here I would be here... More

We enjoyed our food very much but our server seemed too frazzled. Never asked us if we wanted a second drink. When he did come to table, he seemed to be in a hurry. Nice atmosphere. Seemed like many locals eat there. Maybe server was having a bad night but it made our experience less than happy.

WOW! The food here was terrific. Worth the price. The oyster shooters, oyster stew, fried oysters and the HUGE scallops will certainly bring us back again. Our server was terrific as well!

ANY time I go back to Rehoboth Beach, I will most definitely be there-- every day. I took my wife for her birthday dinner and had a great experience. To preface, though we live in PA, we have lived along the shore and had the freshest of seafood many, many times; including the fifteen years we lived in Key West,... More

My husband and I make sure to visit Henlopen City every time we come to the beach. Raw oysters are fresh and delicious; oyster stew is phenomenal (I want the recipe!); happy hour prices are awesome; steamed shrimp=wow; steamed clams=oh yes; great craft beer selection...I've never seen a happy hour that wasn't packed with people. Industrial-type ceiling with tons of... More
