There were 6 of us in our party & everyone had an excellent meal. One of the men kept asking to sample different beers & the server was very pleasant & accommodating. The food tasted very good & the presentation was pleasing to the eye. We will definitely come again. It was a very enjoyable dinner.

Even on a Sunday night, there was a line. Since it was just the two of us we chose to eat at a window counter spot. Excellent martinis, followed by an average Caesar salad but an awesome selection of raw oysters. Hubby had the crab cakes which he described as very good. My soft shell crabs were the best I... More

We ate here over Labor Day weekend. Nice small place And friendly staff. I really thought food was bland. Had oysters Rockefeller and beet salad. Needed flavor. My daughter ordered lobster mAc and cheese and although very generous portions of lobster..kind of bland. Needed salt. My husband had the crab cakes and thought they were ok. Maybe it was an... More

We walked in as they do not accept reservations and the wait was 2 hours so we headed to the bar which was packed, we lucked out and found two seats and had drinks and dinner in the bar. They have a n excellent beer selection and the food was great. We had the bouillabaisse and the red fish which... More

In a town not lacking in amazing dining experiences and particularly seafood restaurants, this one stands out Professional, yet informal service and well prepared food from salads, apps, raw bar and entrees, make up for the long wait

Reviews elsewhere have said that the restaurant wildly overestimates wait times for tables. Although that is usually a good thing - you can plan for worst case and then be pleasantly surprised - their policy was not helpful. We were given a 90 minute estimate, so we went out for cocktails. Less than a half hour later, we got a... More

We took our extended family of 12 here for dinner. What a wonderful experience. Maisey, our waitress, was friendly, observant of our needs, and very helpful with ordering. Food was delicious! Everyone concurred. Loved the creamed corn! Special flavor and recipe using fresh corn. Peel and eat shrimp were a hit. So were po boys, fried oysters, lobster rolls and... More

Henolopen City Oyster House has decent food, if a little expensive for what you get. The hot pot was fresh but not particularly flavorful. The other seafood entrees we had were tasty. Overall, good food, great ambiance, and clearly a hot spot in Rehoboth.

The crab develed eggs are a delight. They give you four halves and the seafood stew was pungent and delicious. It is worth the long way and the texting makes the wait easier since one can wander about while waiting for the table.
