Went for steak night. Our server could have been nicer and more attentive. The steak was cooked beautiful but overall just an average night out.

This was my first visit and I was looking forward to it after reading reviews. We went for the steak night- my steak was cooked properly but the cut of meat was pretty poor, lots of gristle and under seasoned. My husband's pasta was cooked properly but lacked flavor (no seasoning at all). The highlight was my berry salad. I... More

We stopped in at Cafe Azafran for lunch after reading other reviews, and it was a close walk from where we were staying. It is only a block from the boardwalk and we were eager to eat something that was a departure from the pizza/subs/hot dog fare. The waitress promptly brought us water and was attentive with our refills because... More

Menu was filled with lots of delicious food that brought me back to me trips to Spain with a splash of East Coast Seafood options. It was pouring rain the night we went and we walked in to candles lit on every table and were seated in a cozy part of the restaurant (there really isn't a bad seat at... More

We have been going to Cafe Azafran for years in the Lewes location. Now, Rehoboth is the only location. We tried it for the first time for dinner. Richard is still the chef/owner and it is very clear that his high standards have prevailed.Everyone in our party was quite pleased with their choices.Meat and seafood specialties are very good. They... More

Had their wonderful baked oatmeal with yogurt - perfection. My husband had the two eggs and ham. Everything perfect. One of our favorite places in Rehoboth for both breakfast and dinner. The food is fresh and you have tasty healthy choices. definitely make this a stop at least once (but you will be back) on your trip to Rehoboth.

OK, so I dined there last year and remembered it had been very good to excellent; Wrong! This year it was 3+ times as good! It was Beyond-Excellent! It was Exceptional! What I'm talking about is their Vegetable Plate Entree! Now, being Vegan, I have had Veggie-Plates here, there and coast-to-coast; some mediocre others good and a few excellent. However,... More

We are here Wed evening before Memorial Day and enjoyed the all night happy hour with $7 tapas and wine. We had the artichoke bruschetta, haricot verts, calamari, lamb meatballs, gnocchi, and 2 glasses of tempranillo all for around $50. The food was excellent with the grilled artichoke bruschetta being our favorite. The meatballs and gnocchi being second. Great service... More

Whether its drinks, tapas, or large plates, Cafe Azafran is always terrific. Dinner at the bar is entertaining. Try the sausage and white beans, gnocchi, shrimp or goat cheese tapas. In the winter, you might find a great Irish stew or other comfort food.

Cafe Azafran is good ANYTIME, but especially on Friday night when they offer their FRIDAY off-season 3 course Seafood night for $24. There is not a better value in town. Your choice is for soup or salad (or even gumbo) as a 1st choice, then a tapas plate (shrimp, oysters, etc. then select an Entree - I can highly recommend... More
