The food was fresh and delicious. The best meal I've eaten so far in 2014. My dinner was ginger and lime shrimp served with saffron rice and seasonal vegetables and everything was perfect. I didn't have room for dessert but those looked delicious too. The staff was outstanding.

Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. Crab cakes all meat with delicious seasoning and sides. Tappas dishes were unusually generous and well prepared.

Our group of eight ate at this restaurant on a Saturday night. We had a reservation , and there were several people waiting to be served. The restaurant noise level was very good- we did not need to yell to be heard. Food was excellent. Fish of the day was halibut, made very tasty. Several people ordered the crab cake... More

There is no shortage of good restaurants in Rehoboth Beach, but on my last visit, decided to try Café Azafran for drinks and tapas. My friend and I shared a salad with roasted beets, which was very good, and then ordered 4 different tapas plates to share. The baked goat cheese gratin, the Mediterranean sampler, the ricotta and spinach gnocchi... More

Good choice of tapas - the bruscheta was really good, the beans with hazelnuts and the chorizo hash were on the good side avoid the ratatouille. Booking highly advised.

Wife and I made reservation for family based upon locals rec ..... good choice! We had calamari and meat/cheese plate with drinks.......good but not great. Salads for 2nd round were the highlight of the meal, incredibly fresh, local ingredients that were large and well prepared. We all then had tapas plates and they were very good including scallops, short rib... More

Just out for an evening stroll in Rehoboth Beach on a Wednesday night we happened past Cafe Azafran and noticed they had a Thursday steak special. We decided to take them up on it and showed up around 6:30 only to find that we needed a reservation for seating otherwise we could be seated at 8:30. They offered us the... More

Enjoyed Wednesday night paella! The experience was nice! Was seated in the screened in porch and was able to watch the chef prepare the meal. Patrons were also encouraged to step into the tiny courtyard to ask the chef questions as he prepared the meal outside of the porch. This added an interesting dimension to the dining experience for those who... We decided to stop in Thursday night around 6 sit at the bar, say hi to Holly the bartender and ended up having drinks, appetizers, a bottle of wine, called friends to stop by and join and have dinner while Holly and John Flynn did a beautiful cabaret night. So if you have not been go on a Thursday where... More

This was our first visit for dinner and we decided on a variety of small plates. The service was wonderful and the food very satisfying. The patio in the back provided a feeling of seclusion without neglect.
