Not Your Typical Mexican Restaurant

My wife and I Gould this place by accident. The menu is not your typical Mexican, it's very creative and fun. The service is crazy good, we sat at the bar and the bartender treated us like we were best of friends. The food was excellent, portions out of this world and we had to take some home... read more

They say you need to show your groupon at the table and we did. Did the portions shrink? No. We eat at Mariachi often and find that for Mexican it is still the best value in town. We love the rooftop dining (in season) and off season prefer the first floor. Favorites are the Sante Fe Platter and the Fajitas.... More

So we have been to mariachi twice before and were very impressed. We saw they were offering a groupon for the "offseason" so we jumped on the opportunity. When we got to the restaurant for lunch there was a sign on the door that read please mention to server before you order if you have a groupon. Since groupon is... More

We eat here quite often as our 6 year old just loves it. Yolanda is almost always there and very welcoming and warm to all. Servers also know us, are often family members, and are invested is insuring you have a great meal. Food is not all your typical Mexican and is all delicious.

Really good! Excellent service. It's a fusion of Cuban, Mexican, Portuguese and Spanish cuisine. My husband and I got the Spanish Parrillada for two. It was grilled chicken breast, fajita steak, pork chop, spanish chorizo topped with garlic, parsley and olive oil on a sizzling platter. Comes with rice and beans. We also shared Tres Leches which is cake soaked... More

They have the usual, but more interesting are several entrees that you will not see in a typical mexican restaurant. In the summer, the view of the ocean from the second floor porch adds to the enjoyment your meal.

Purchased a Groupon for Mariachi, which we used on Sat. for dinner. Have previously had a good lunch experience here, but I remember the house margaritas being better--these tasted from a mix--and the food was just so-so. We opted to eat upstairs, but should have stayed downstairs, as we realized upon leaving that there was live music downstairs. Besides that,... More

Served with flair and tasty entrees. We arrived at happy hour and enjoyed $5 margaritas. Don't miss the sopapillas!

We went there a couple of times. The food was very good, tasty. At one of the visits, we were told that we ordered the last duck special for the night. The dish was very delicious, the best we've ever had. The place also appears popular with the locals and for gathering.

Mariachi has carved out a nice niche among other notable restaurants on Wilmington Ave. (one street over from Rehoboth Ave.) including Ambrosia, Ale House, Green Turtle, etc. Parking is always a challenge in this area, but don't let that discourage you. Park as far as you need to and enjoy the walk. Mariachi is a family run restaurant offering reliably... More
