So glad we stopped after years of driving by on the way to Delaware beaches. Late on a Friday night, we only waited 5 minutes to be seated. Which was fine, we had lots to take in and look at. The ambiance was better than expected, a little loud but was tolerable. Colored lights everywhere and colorful wall pictures. Our... More

Sat at the bar. Bartender was great and attentive. The restaurant was packed with a wait on a Tuesday. Got the blackened chicken and it was very blackened. A little crisp and they overdid the spice. I like spicy food, but this was too much. Jambalaya was bland. Very disappointing considering the other good ratings. No where near New Orleans... More

OK, the food isn't "the best" of any restaurant in America but, dollar for dollar, it might very well be. I honestly don't know how they make money on their prices: I'm guessing it's on the booze (which is fairly priced but, unlike the food, not cheap). You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Their Mexican food... More

My family stopped here while traveling on 4th of July weekend. The food was decent and affordable. It is rare that my family of 7 can have a sit down meal for under $100. The seafood enchiladas were very good . Margaritas were excellent. We were seated quickly and the service was great. If your traveling on I95 this is... More

The food that we had was really good, which included beef fajitas, quesadillas, and a salad. In addition, they have some of the best tasting tortilla chips and salsa to start the meal I've tasted. The service was not overly friendly (at least with our waitress), and the atmosphere is loud and crowded (there's so little room that the waitstaff... More

I love the speedy service and delicious chips/salsa provided when you are waiting for your food. My favorite dish to order here is the blackened chicken. It is absolutely delicious! I have never had such tasty blackened chicken anywhere else. The decor, atmosphere, and value for your money is awesome at Border Cafe.

My family frequents this restaurant as we can always count on good food at a great price. Portions are just about always too big but make for a great lunch the next day. My favorite reason for going is the margaritas; regardless of what kind you get. We go as a couple and with our children. The only negative, depending... More

My wife and I would go here to meet up with friends and family as well as casual dinners. The atmosphere is perfect and always tends to have a good family atmosphere. The food is good and the only downside is that when I did go there they had no beers on draft.

We frequently go to border cafe as it is my 5 year old son's favorite restaurant. The food is always good. You can't beat the price is. It's a very family friendly restaurant. The staff is always very nice.

Nice fun atmosphered place with good all round food dishes and drinks for everyone, really down to earth. We waited about 45 mins to get seated but we did request outside and the outside seating area is not huge. Well worth wait, tex mix selection was enjoyed by our party with a few beers and margaritas. Not to forget the... More
