Potent margaritas and hot fresh food! Don't be afraid of a little wait...moves fast. Atmosphere was active and the staff knows their stuff! Have to say, the cornbread was one of the best I have had!!

Fast service, delicious food (nice sized portions) and affordable prices! Go for lunch so you won't have the dinner rush wait. Try the pastelitos and gulf coast enchiladas! Great for the while family.

My headline says it all, and if you trust it, you're in for a treat. Border Cafe was packed on a Monday night, with good reason. Imaginative menu items, good service, great prices, and, I really mean it, the best Tex-Mex food I've eaten in roughly 40 different tries from Maine to Florida. We only got to try two dishes.... I have eaten here at least 20 times over the last 2 years, but opted to write a review as yesterday we had another great meal with an attentive wait staff. I must confess, I always get the Gulf Coast seafood crepes. Incredible meal for something like $11. Their meals are all good and very inexpensive. Their frozen margaritas are... More

Stopped in on 8/3 around 1:45pm for a late lunch w/ my parents. The food was served quickly, even though the restaurant was full. Everything we had was great - the quesadilla, the burros, the empanadas. We also had the shrimp and guac as appetizers, along w/ 2 margaritas, and they were delicious. For $56, we all had leftovers! This... More

Always saw the sign, but never stopped. Finally did and will a lot more. You feel like your in mexico as soon as you walk in. The staff was right on. The food was authentic, tasty and priced right. The beers were ice cold. Chips and salsa were the best I've had and really got the experience started. Don't do... More

So glad we stopped after years of driving by on the way to Delaware beaches. Late on a Friday night, we only waited 5 minutes to be seated. Which was fine, we had lots to take in and look at. The ambiance was better than expected, a little loud but was tolerable. Colored lights everywhere and colorful wall pictures. Our... More

Sat at the bar. Bartender was great and attentive. The restaurant was packed with a wait on a Tuesday. Got the blackened chicken and it was very blackened. A little crisp and they overdid the spice. I like spicy food, but this was too much. Jambalaya was bland. Very disappointing considering the other good ratings. No where near New Orleans... More

OK, the food isn't "the best" of any restaurant in America but, dollar for dollar, it might very well be. I honestly don't know how they make money on their prices: I'm guessing it's on the booze (which is fairly priced but, unlike the food, not cheap). You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Their Mexican food... More

My family stopped here while traveling on 4th of July weekend. The food was decent and affordable. It is rare that my family of 7 can have a sit down meal for under $100. The seafood enchiladas were very good . Margaritas were excellent. We were seated quickly and the service was great. If your traveling on I95 this is... More
