We always have a good meal at Border Cafe. Reasonably priced and very tasty. Try a Jumbo Margaharita but make sure you are not driving !! Downside : NO Mexican DESSERT !!

Blackened Catfish was ordered for dinner. The entree was somewhat spartan: a single piece of fish and a small portion of rice. The fish was somewhat "rubbery" ((not the best catfish I have ever had). This establishment was well-patronized, however, so perhaps the other offerings are better.

My family has been enjoying this restaurant for probably 5 years and keep going back. Food is excellent and portion size is rather large. We usually eat half the meal and bring what is left home for lunch the next day. Prices are VERY REASONABLE. My only complaint, which is minor in my opinion, is that they do not have... More

Large groups (5 or more) should avoid at rush times - very limited seating for groups, and will not accommodate by putting tables together. Food is good and reasonably priced.

This place is fantastic every time we go. It is a New Orleans's type Mexican. Some of my favorites are Gulf Coast Seafood Enchiladas, Cheese Enchiladas, and Chicken or Cheese Quesadillas. This place is so popular that you can't order takeout or an extra meal to go. If you want a meal to take home or an app, entree, maybe... More

Many of the excellent reviews on food were right on. The noise level is high in the front but is much quieter in the back section. The server Chelsey R was one of the best we have had in quite sometime in any restaurant. She certainly is cruise line material; super attentive. Try to get her if she is there.... More

The hubby and I went to the Border Cafe with another couple for lunch. The place was crowded at noon but we were seated right away. For appetizers we ordered the chicken pastolitos, the cajun blackened chicken strips, and the chili. The chicken pastalitos were very good, the crust was a light and flakey pastry crust stuffed with chicken, served... More

My entree combined Mexican Gulf Coast seafood enchiladas with Cajun jambalaya, and my wife ordered the cheese enchiladas. Both were tasty, much better than most other Cajun and Mexican restaurants in the Delaware Valley. Prices were very reasonable, ingredients were fresh, and service was quick and efficient. It's a popular place, and it filled up quickly, but the noise level... More

Overall Border Cafe does a nice job with their Louisianaand Mexican style offerings. Have had most things on the menu over the course of 7 years and have never had a bad meal. Good value.
