Breakfast and lunch served until 2 p.m. Best iced tea anywhere with refill. BLT w/out the B is a vegetarian delight. Only downside, no desert. Note to owners: desert would be huge. Strawberry Rhubarb Pie, Pecan Pie, Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing (I mean serious cream cheese icing).

This place is local and down to Earth. The staff are very friendly and make you feel a home. The real highlight is the food. They make a great breakfast and quickly. Highly recommended for a simple, delicious, and relaxed breakfast.

Sinclair's is outstanding. It's hard to beeline that anyone would give this place a bad review. I guess if your tastebuds are more in tune to Denny's, this is not the place for you. I couldn't think of a single negative thing to say about Sinclair's. 1. The waitstaff hustles and is very friendly. 2. The food is fresh and... More

I have read several reviews of this breakfast and lunch restaurant in Newark , Delaware. They either rave about the place or pan it. I will say that the breakfast menu and service were excellent. The food was excellent, bacon crisp, coffee hot. The service was fine as well...The negative reviews were mostly about bad service and high prices. I... More

We are Newark locals, and we eat out several times a week for breakfast or brunch. We keep coming back to Sinclair's because it is so good. The eggs are REAL and they are scrambled to perfection, light fluffy, and not wet and gross. The bacon is better than I can make myself. It is crunchy, wide, and cooked on... More

If this place gets high rating, it must be from the people that work there. First they have only ONE "flavor" of pancakes a week. You can't just get plain pancakes. I should have left right then. There is no real sausage, just turkey sausage or veggie sausage. So I order a New York Poached egg. Supposed to be bacon... More

I was so excited to find a place that offered vegan breakfast while my husband and I were in town! This place has a very mixed feeling inside though.. If I had to find the positive for the interior - it's 'home'y (totally not an actual word). However, it's almost like going into someone's home and the kitchen + dining... More

When ever I visit my niece in Delaware we try to get to Sinclair's. Great food great staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. My great nephew calls it The Book Store coz of the very kid friendly box of coloring books and regular books for the kids!!! Can't wait to go back!!!

I have attended the University of Delaware for four years, and just this last June of 2013 I realized that it was time to go to a breakfast cafe. I have heard many different people speak fondly of Sinclairs, and Anders finally talked me into it. The service was incredible. I particularly enjoyed the New York Poached Egg special, definitely... My mom and I both agree that this is the worse meal we have had in a LONG time. Negatives: 1. Slow service (although she was friendly) 2. Overpriced - $37 (w/o tip) for 3 adults and one child (who didnt eat!) 3. Bad food choices, quality, and taste- first, they dont have scrapple, what breakfast place in the DE... More
